Ding dong the smells not gone. A glorified greasy spoon where the tables could do with a good clean. The smell of grease drifting across the car park is a warning of what lies ahead and it's best avoided.

We live close by and this is our go to place for an English breakfast. Friendly staff and a very dog friendly establishment. Highly recommended.

Ordered a vegan breakfast, not best pleased the box was dripping tomato juice and beans sauce out of it which made an absolute mess. One toast, (i was expecting two) which was burnt around the edges. Rang up to speak with management to which he replied that it is what it is…

Nice venue. Rather loud and busy.(which is fine specially with a baby.) Small touches can make a major difference with customer service. Eg sign informing you to find yourself a table, get your own menu's and to order at the counter(which does say on the menu)Had the egg benedict and egg royal. Just bland. Some nice garnishing would of been nice. If in the area for a walk. Could add a nice touch to your trip but personally won't be coming back.

Always a very nice breakfast and staff are always friendly and helpful. Because it is a very busy and popular place, sometimes a table might has a few pots and not been wiped, but is it really the end if the world to wait a few moments, no. If you can walk into a place with immaculate empty tables, the reason is probably because it isn't very good.

Only went for a coffee with a friend. Not been for at least two years. Service (what I would consider basics) has gone downhill. We chose a table that hadn't (yet???) been wiped clean. So when I was at the till to put our order in I asked if it could be cleaned. In the meantime I noticed that the table next to ours was being cleared and we moved to that one as it was more convenient to sit at. However, cleared, yes - wiped clean, no. Then the 'waitress' wiped the first table clean, but not the one we'd chosen to sit at that she'd just cleared and we were next to. Incomprehensible!!! So I decided again to go to the counter and ask for it to be cleaned too. This was kind of done - not thoroughly as there was still sauce stuck to the table. Can only imagine that said cloth is used all day long too... as it was kept somewhere next to the cakes display area. Yuck!

This is place is tremendous. We went twice in the space of 24 hours on a round trip west to east. The breakfast, on a slightly cloudy Sunday morning (me, not the weather) was, probably, the best I've ever been served. Every aspect of it was spot on. Add this, to diligent, energetic, enthusiastic staff and you've got the dream ticket. It's a busy, vibrant place and it deserves to be. 10/10.

Excellent tea room in a beautiful location over looking the marina. Seating outside or inside coupled with a good selection of choice on the menu. Amazing hot choc specials and to die for lish cakes. Free parking on the marina site too.
