"We are a cosy cafe with great homemade food which is locally sourced. We provide the classic afternoon tea. we have a lovely outdoor seat area, dog friendly. We create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and a good spot for the local customers to sit and have coffee and cake, or a spot of lunch."

I used to visit this place before Covid when the café was smaller, more intimate and olde worlde. It was charming then with a lovely atmosphere, but now sadly it looks like any other ordinary run of the mill establishment. The linen table cloths, proper loose leaf tea with a strainer, china cups and sugar cubes in a sugar bowl have all been dispensed with. Now one is presented with utility crockery, and plastic tablecloths. The cake prices are extortionate for the quality of goods on offer. We endured some sort of Bakewell tart offering which was described to us as a flapjack. It was not a flapjack, and looked like a cheap supermarket packet Bakewell tart which had been squashed into an excessively sweet and gooey base. It tasted raw and very cloying to the taste. A very, poor experience which we probably wouldn't want to repeat. There were some interesting items for sale in the craft areas and in fairness there was a lot more stock available for sale. However there was a lot of tat that one would find in a poundshop which seemed incongruous to the 'craft' image that the establishment tries to portray.Sadly, we were not impressed and shall not be returning.

Called in here yesterday to have a coffee and a scone.Althought there was nothing wrong with it, the price was ridiculous. We were charged £8.50 for two black coffees and a very small scone !!!This is a small out of the way old nursery made into a cafe with individial stall holders selling crafts.I would never pay £8.50 for the same on the High Strreet, so I was really shocked being charged this in a small roadside cafe with low overheads. They certainly will not be seeing me again.

We called in here on our way home from a holiday in Norfolk and had a really delicious all day medium breakfast 😋 the staff are wonderful and friendly here. Afterwards we did some shopping in the gift shop. Definitely worth a detour for a visit 👍

A great little place to eat, wonderful afternoon teas. Always presented nicely with freshly prepared food and good service. A hidden gem!

Disappointing afternoon tea. Very over priced(£17!) for what basically was a few dry sandwiches and shop bought mini sausage rolls and cupcakes. Shame as I had heard such great things.

Loved it. Great menu. Big portions. Lots of little units with great gift ideas. A stop well worth seeking out. Google it, enter it's post code if you are driving along the A17.

Lovely tearoom with a wide selection of food and drink choices. Delicious ice cream sundaes too! Excellent service from helpful, friendly staff. There is also a wide range of goods to browse, from unusual gifts, toys, books and craft supplies. Highly recommend.

Called in for Sunday dinner. The food was all freshly cooked, not frozen veg, and proper yorkshire puddings. Just one word of warning, unless your really really starving just get the small one. There are bargains to be had in the shops that are housed in the building, featuring local hand made crafts. The staff are really friendly.

I loved this place, could of spent a fortune on the garden ornaments, herons, flamingos, owls, pigs etc, also pictures of highland coos etc and basket ware, the food was amazing! 😋😋 Loved the little teapot my Earl Gray tea (real tea leaves) was served in! We will be back there at some point! Xx
