We loved this place. We have lived in Spalding for 6 years and have been meaning to go. So glad we did. Beautiful museum and gardens. The cafe is a family run cafe. The food is delicious 😋, especially the breakfasts.Katie made our museum tour really interesting and she took time out to explain the history to us. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her job.

Lovely breakfast as always. Just a shame you can never get a table inside as they are always all reserved.

Called for morning coffee (and bread pudding, mmm!!) So good, we booked for lunch. What a treat, all 4 of us were delighted with our meals, my OH normally chooses from burger, fried fish or pie. Today he chose Salt baked beetroot, goats cheese and candied walnuts, with a nicely dressed mixed leaf salad. He loved it, and was so full he had to leave a whole tub of chunky chips! The young staff were friendly and efficient. We look forward to returning.

I took a break whilst cycling however been there many times before. Great place for lunch, coffee name it. Friendly staff and beautiful, peacful location. There have been additional tables outside with 4 of them (2 family size) under patio roof. Highly recommending to visit historical Ayscougfee Hall as well.

Had a lovely meal today. Really clean and also very pleasant staff. We had shredded ham hock salad with baby new potatoes. Was delicious. Maybe a slice of garlic bread or something similar would have been nice with it. But couldn't fault anything.

The food was lovely. Really good value for money and the service was prompt and polite. It was very busy when we visited, which was the first Monday lunchtime in August, so there were lots of families and small children. There's plenty of outside seating, but not so much of it is undercover. Although we didn't need it today, we would have done just 24 hours ago.Because it was busy there was a short wait for some people so it is best to book a table ahead of visiting. However, although we booked online through their contact us page, but no one ever came back. We've no idea whether we'd booked or not

Went there for a spot of lunch today, I have to say I will be going back at every opportunity.Despite living through the COVID era, the cafe was welcoming and enough space given to all occupants. The service was exceptional, however the food and drink were the star of the show.As a family we had some amazing generously portioned food, the drinks were equally outstanding (Caramel Latte’s for the record).Would thoroughly recommend to both locals and visitors alike.
