Central Fish Bar in South Holland

Quite simply the best Fish and Chips in the local area. Others are good, but this one is exceptional.

Lovely hot fresh fish and chips. Staff lovely and allergy aware. Dairy free batter.

Maybe before you leave a review for a business you could check you have the right one. We do not stop frying at 7pm on a Friday night.We were still frying at 7.30 pm and the door was open till 7.45. Or was it you couldnt be bothered to wait in the queue that was right out of the door at 7pm so you thought you'd leave a nasty review?Unfortunately we are a very busy fish shop so waiting times can be a little long on a Friday as our regular customers will yell you but we do NOT stop frying at 7pm.Replying to lady below Amanda bower it was actually 6.52 and we had fish in cooking but we only had 1 left from the last batch as the people in front of you had ordered the rest they take around 10 minutes to cook so that batch would of been ready just before 7 as we were closing.I apologised to you at the time. And told you there was 1 left but that was the last batch. You refused it and walked away.But you didn't ask to speak to my manager who would of explained this to you as well.Maybe try to avoid getting there right at closing time to avoid disappointment of not having much left.

Dropped off the A17 for something to eat. Welcomed and treated to really good fish and chips. Peas from proper marrowfat peas. Sat down and treated to proper plate and cutlery. Thank you
