"Long Sutton Golf and Country Club is a privately owned, gently undulating, parkland golf course, set on the edge of the levels in the heart of South Somerset. The golf club was opened in 1991 and is now an established and challenging golf course, which is one of the best in the local area. Since coming under new ownership in September 2019, a huge amount of investment has gone into the golf course to improve the golfing experience. The golf course, designed by Patrick Dawson, is set in 130 acres and is 6352 yards in length . It is a par 71 course for men and par 72 for ladies. The course has matured and continues to evolve to create an even more exciting and pleasurable golf experience."

The course continues to improve year after year. Great progress and a superb clubhouse. The new driving range is 5 stars - outstanding facility. Difficult to get prime time tee slots, as course now very popular! Well done to the Long Sutton Golf Club team - great progress.

Course has great potential. Unfortunately when we played the greens were being aerated and sanded meaning putting was like playing on the beach. Wasn't great.

Had a great time with 140 others for a Xmas party. Lunch was good but could have been a bit hotter. Pudding was excellent. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the service.

Our local stoppage after a long bike ride. Foods are lovely, and fresh hot drinks. Lovely venue, now that it's been done up. I've used the venue 4yrs ago, for me hubby's 80th birthday. I'll certainly use the venue again for special occasion.

Played on 19th July 2021 and without doubt on in the best courses I have played in a long time. The greens are also the best that I have played on since visiting floridaOverall if your planning a game give this course a go you won’t be disappointed

What an amazing, well maintained course, we loved every hole and plan on going back again, it was well worth the 2 hour drive.

Not from down this this way. Working away. Booked a tee time and was not expecting much after reading some of the reviews but what an absolutely pleasant surprise. Course was a very good test of golf and in good condition. You can see that money is being spent to improve the course where it needs it and where investment has been made. Pro shop staff were excellent as were the bar staff at the 19th hole. All the members were very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend that you visit this golf course as you will be in for a parkland course treat
