Seng House in South Holland

Excellent!

Was reasonably priced. Had chicken chow mein & chicken omelette. Both absolutely delicious and hot. Best fries I’ve had.

The food is good and well cooked. The prices are still very reasonable and the owners are real people.EXCELLENT!

Salt, salt, salt. Could feel my arteries hardening with every mouthful. Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I've ever had the misfortune of paying for

Food was bad and super salty only ate half then felt sick after not impressed won't be going back 🤮

Only went there because kirton lights were being switched on and couldn't park to go to 4 seasons. Spring rolls fried in batter but had wraps inside which were soggy and tasteless, filling was only beansprouts. King prawn fried rice had a decent amount of prawns but only peas as well and was pretty tasteless, wont be going again.

Had the set meal for 3. Was ready for collection as I walked through the door, Excellent portion sizes, everything was very tasty and piping hot - lovely.

Good portion sizes and certainly nothing was underdone. Rice, chow mein, chips and crackers were all very good. S&S sauce was a bit tangy but not bad. S&S pork balls were tough and overdone. Duck in plum was lacking in flavour. Large pancake rolls were a huge disappointment by being over-battered and using the same doughy batter that is used for the S&S balls instead of the more traditional wrap pancake batter that you should get. Ended up scooping a tonne of dough out of the pancake rolls that would likely have given me indigestion. Wasn't the cheapest either. Hope they make some improvements to bring it back to how it was when it was Donington House (then Ming House after that).

Really nice Chinese, have been going there all the time that I have lived in the village ( 13 years )Food is good and cooked to order, would say when they are busy at weekends to add 10 minutes to time they tell you, prices for set meals are good.Used to be called Donington ming house.
