The Chequers of Weston in South Holland

Good food, but most impressed with the staff as they were very busy but still attentive, they also told us as we came in (as a walk in) that they had paused orders for a while so not to overwhelm the kitchen and told us the delay and they understood if we didn't want to wait. I love this communication not only with the customers but also with the kitchen and front of house just seamed very organised and like a true team.

Lovely place to eat, the food is excellent and the service first class.But.... for me, the portions were far too small for the price paid. It is the only thing they are getting wrong.So, it a nice place to eat, without doubt, but don't expect too much on your plate.

Fantastic food and service. Food is homemade, freshly cooked and reasonably priced. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be calling in again

Visited at lunch time today (22/01/2022). I had the scallops followed by sausage and mash, absolutely delicious! The service was great and the food was freshly cooked and the portion size was perfect. We'll definitely be going again

My second visit for a meal, the food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. The service is freindly and helpful. There are few places that serve food a good as i can cook at home, but now i have found this place i will be eating out more often.

Visited this evening with my family ( 17 of us in total) We arrived early for our meal and sat outside in the heated area, it was fantastic, so we decided to sit out there to eat our meals. The food was some of the best we've ever had, the roast to die for and the desserts amazing! The staff were very friendly and chatty, the waiter couldn't do enough for us! Just wished we lived closer to be able to visit regularly! But next time we are in Lincolnshire, will deffently pop by again!

Lovely meals, great value for money. The gazebo was great...anything with pretty lights looks great at night too. We've been twice - once in the cold in May and once in July. Not been disappointed on either visit and will definitely go again

Amazing pub in Weston. First meal out since lockdown, they had great open outdoor space making it comfortable to eat outside. Good variety of food and decently priced. Not giving 5 stars as the veggie burger was suppose to have sweet chilli mayo but they forgot the mayo, making the burger. The pull duck burger was delicious according to my husband. The service was a bit slow, but it was busy so expected. Will definitely go again.
