Menu is not very exciting, cash only. We had a meal that easnt greay either. Also the woman who I assume owns it decides to take the till of in the middle of service. Unbelievable,You have 3 people serving at the time, absolute kahos.Time to find a diff bar

Can’t recommend the food enough, nice selection on the menu and the carvery is by far the best we have had. The staff are extremely friendly and sociable This is most definitely a pub to try

Absolutely dreadful from start to finosh waitresses dont have a clue about food or drink, whats on the menu whats not! Lasagne was runny ,coleslaw tasted like plastic. Lack of flavour. We were then told to move as karaoke was coming in. Sat on another table dirty not wiped no social distancing no mask wearing. Music came on there were so many people at the bar couldnt ask for bill. Waited and waited eventually i had to scream over all the people at bar as didnt want to be in there space man came down from bar with card machine i ranted above the loud ! Music and was told sorry bout that ! Really!! Paid went never will i ever go back there again absolutely awfull !!

We ordered a shared starter and main courses, one main course came out before the starter. We reminded the waitress, she said do you not want this now! No thanks, starter first. Then she came back and asked..would we like it all together! Starter and main courses! No thank you! The anti pasta came, it was all warm like it had been sat on the warming plate. The salami and sun dried tomatoes were exceptionally salty.. Main course, my steak came with soggy onion rings, greasy mushrooms, no veg at all.No a pleasant experience definitely won't eat there again

We had home made fish pie and home made turkey & ham pie. Both were great. The pastry on the turkey pie was particularly good being glazed flakey on top and crumbly on the sides. I loved the chunks of meat and gravy inside. Staff offered cranberry sauce inside or on the side and service was attentive and helpful. It was great to get fresh vegetables cooked perfectly not just reheated frozen. We have not eaten here for some years but I do not remember the food being this good. There must be a new chef! Will eat here again soon.

Don't know about Mr Frame and his ridiculous feedback. We had the best of meals for a very reasonable price. Our compliments to the chef. The waitresses were friendly and helpful. We've already booked another night. Recommended.

Visiting my sister and she recommended this place but absolutely everything was salted to within an inch of it's life. We managed to scrap it off most things but still struggled to finish. The young girls serving were absolutely lovely but there was quite a wait between courses and to even ask for drinks or the check. Decent food, bit expensive.

Positively stunning food. Fantastic service. Beautiful layout and design inside. Amazing place. Would definitely come again. The burgers are real ground beef, the salad is to die for (and I hate salad). Just truly beautiful. The best place I've eaten in a long time.

Really lovely place warm and friendly staff with really good food and good beers. I would recommend going any night of the week but think the best meal I had was on a Tuesday as they do a carvery and it was honestly the best carvery I have ever had couldn't fault it one bit and you can go up as many times as you like can't wait to go back.
