Popped in following a shopping trip. The restaurant wasn't too busy and was seated immediately. Reasonable menu with lots of choice. Service was good and the food was tasty. Would return again if in the area.

We went in for lunch and a cuppa. We were quickly greeted and taken to our table, we shared a sandwich and chips, it was lovely. Great customer service. Been before and will return.

Called in for something to eat on the way back from a day out. Had Scampi and chips with mushy peas and tartare sauce. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were friendly and food was great. Would definitely go again.😊

4 stars for the food...took quite a long time for starters to arrive, the food was good quality but not outstanding hence 4 stars...however - great gluten free range and really accommodating. We took our autistic child and we asked for music to be turned down a bit and nothing was to much trouble, thanks 😊

Overpriced for what it is, nice pub but average food. Dry pork sandwich and lasagne with cheesy garlic bread, cheese wasn’t melted. Limited drink range and £3.30 for a pint of coke. Disappointing but lovely staff and good service.

Wasn't bad. But had better there.Hubster and I had ham, egg and chips. He was fine with his, he eats anything lol.But for me, the eggs tasted like they'd been fried in fresh lard, nasty. The ham was off pink with mounds of fat in the middle.Chips were nice. But hubster polished off his and mine.Least it wasn't rammed with people and they seemed nicely spaced out.

Had a meal here today. Homemade beef stew with horse radish mash. The stew tasted like it came from a can, the beef was hard and the mash had no taste of horse radish, in fact the the mash tasted like packet mash. Not impressed but didn't say anything as was with family. Would not eat here again. Only good thing was the service.

Went on a quiet day, with the Mrs and her 2 kids. It was a friendly, comfortable and inviting atmosphere with decor to match. Staff were polite and friendly. The food we ordered was cooked nicely and well presented.Always heard it was expensive here but it's in fact very reasonable, a lot nicer food than a two for ten at wetherspoons!

Very nice place located in a very nice area with lot beautiful gardens and green land. We went for lunch and it was great. We just walked in without any booking. Staff was mostly friendly and very useful. We ordered a "Hunter's chicken" from the menu which was great. It goes with chips and either salad or coleslaw. It was so good. Overall very nice restaurant. Highly recommend.😎
