Great food,very patient staff , very very generous portions plus amazing view of the river

Have been several times now. Service is always good, and cannot fault the food. Service is excellent, people are friendly. When weather is nice, it lovely to sit outside and watch the birds on the river and wave to any passing boats.

Tha food here is superb. Some of the best fish and chips around. Staff are always friendly, and the atmosphere in the pub is great, from a quiet corner to watching sport on the big screen.

Anniversary lunch together with she who has to be obeyed. Lovely setting, fabulous dining and great service. Many thanks 👍

My husband and I were here for a meal on Saturday ,the food was great as was the staff they were so helpful and friendly. My husband is disabled and we found them very accomadatin (not forgetting the customers who helped us also) by the way he was impressed with the Guinness, so a huge thank you to all we definitely be back and would highly recommend this place.

My wife and I went here for the first time tonight, and we had a fantastic meal and a few drinks. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit which will not be too far distant. Thanks to everyone for a lovely evening out.

Lovely place with a good farm shop but very little in the way of local produce. Had breakfast but unfortunately everything was precooked and kept warm so eggs were hard and fried potatoes very dry.

Out of all the places I've been to in the Spalding area, this one, was the one that really excited me by their menu and what it has to offer... the Moorings is and quaint typical traditional english pub with a bold menu.Food is well executed, served well too and plentiful. You wont go home hungry! The Moorings is located in a busy road, centrally to Spalding but there are plenty of options for parking in the vicinity.My advice, if going there for dinner, go early, it's small cosy and unassuming but it gets packed! Will definitely come around again and explore some more of this menu.

First time visit here! Went with a friend who has been before, we decided to eat and had a light bites fish finger sandwich and smaller plate fish and chips! OMG! ! The fish fingers sandwich was big and proper fish pieces too my fish and chips was just the right size for me! We then decided on a pudding these too were very good value for money! Will defo be going again!!
