The Old Black Lion in South Holland

Brilliant food, brilliant land lord& land lady. I highly recommend the old black lion. I’ve read the comment from Gary Barton and I truly think he should reply back to the land lady and apologise for the bad review he’s put

Myself and my family had the most enjoyable Sunday lunch today, the staff were most accommodating , after we had our meal/deserts we enjoyed a couple of drinks with the locals at the bar , putting the world to right. Defently recommend and hopefully return soon

We called Sunday 24/04/2022 and had the roast diner which was excellent and can highly recommend it, Good service nothing to much trouble great little pub

Visited today for Sunday lunch. Staff were really accommodating, food was superb, lovely home cooked food, piping hot and really generous portions. Certainly one of the best Sunday lunches we have had locally. What a great friendly team they are, very welcoming and pet friendly. No wonder it was so busy. Be back soon.🤗🤗

Had an amazing roast dinner in a friendly atmosphere. The portions were great and the price was very reasonable. Will be definitely be visiting again in the near future.

Called in on a Sunday after hours of travelling from up north with the family . The staff were great very friendly and helpful. We gotbthe Sunday dinner and wow all home cooked good quality food and plenty of it , come away very full and very satisfied

Bit shocked to read a post of dissatisfaction about Sunday Lunch at The Old Black Lion. We have had several lunches there and each time they have been excellent with great food, good healthy portions and a warm friendly service. I sincerely hope the posters review of a couple of weeks ago dog is well fed otherwise. Go Fido !!!!!

Delicious food, very friendly and attentive staff. Nothing wrong with the place itself, but not very easy to find. Full marks for quality of food and service 👍🏻

Great pub, great service & the Sunday roast is amazing!! £10.50 for a mix meat plate with all the trimmings & extra sides too! This is the best & biggest roast dinner I've ever had... Oh & the Bailey's & Hob-nob cheese cake was a dream in my mouth!!! Shame it's so far from London.
