Central Restaraunt and Tearoom in South Kesteven

The best place in town for a spiced chai latte. I always get one when I can. Yet to try the food but heard great things about it, and the options look appitizing.The place itself it cozy, and has in my opinion the best seating. Especially the stalls near the window.

Always nice in there, pleasant staff a pleasant place for a coffee and nibbles (a good breakfast to be had) and a good situation in town

Went for light lunch and coffees had a pannini with a side of chips we both really enjoyed. A bit expensive but good quality and very tasty. We had take away cake at £3.95 a slice which was finger thin and very dry not at all enjoyable which was a shame as it until that point was a really nice experience. Staff were very friendly and professional it was quite busy and several tables were needing to be cleared but I assume that's not normal practice and was beacuse they were busy.

Stopped in Stamford to stretch legs and have lunch. We found Central Cafe on our walk. All four of us ordered and were served quickly. The waitress was in n her game as everything came exactly as ordered by each of us. I had the bacon, brie and avocado panini. It was excellent! Will stop here again if the chance arises.

I remember having meals here 50 years or so ago, so my wife and I thought we would go and enjoy a cup of Cappuccino coffee which was very pleasant and enjoyable. I can't fault the waitress and the cleanliness of the place BUT was disappointed to be deliberately short changed when I came to pay at the till. Please don't let dishonest staff do this well known tiresome trick. I might be old with a visible disability but I'm not stupid when it comes to paying and checking my change. Rather spoilt the afternoon there.

Great food and service. We went for breakfast on the hottest weekend of the year so the aircon was much appreciated!Lots of options on the menu and we couldn’t resist adding a scone to our full English breakfasts!!

Central Cafe and Tearooms is a true gem. It has an old world quirky interior. The location is the corner of a lovely square. The food was fantastic and of a really high standard. The tea was delicious, loose leaf and the pots of tea came with extra hot water, greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend.

Really cool medieval feel very friendly staff and good prices. The food was extremely good especially the English breakfasts first visit and definitely won't be the last.

Piss poor, any Marks Sandwich would had been ten times better and 1/3 of the price. Refer to pictures, it’s what they call a BLT. Added a handful of crisps (they were good) and some dry salad with not a drop of dressing.... no thanks.

Central tea room is a visit for anyone visiting Stamford. The staff we're very friendly, helpful and polite. Coffee was alot better than your coffee shop chains. Their cakes and pastries are very tasty, the best coffee I've ever had. Cheers Central tea room for making my visit memorable.
