The Garden Centre and shop were good and we got all the plants that we wanted. The big letdown in our visit was the restaurant upstairs. We asked for two roast dinners and a jacket potato.....although there was still an hour left in the 3 hour window for cooked meals there were no jacket potatoes left and the only meat available for roast dinners was chicken. Once we received our meals it was no more than glorified chicken and chips not a roast dinner...no roast potatoes, no Yorkshire puddings and lumpy gravy....definitely not worth £10.50 per meal!!! May visit the garden centre again but definitely won't bother going to the restaurant.

We bought Garden Lounge furniture from Downtown. We were on an extremely tight delivery schedule but Louise the dedicated sales assistant was excellent in every aspect and found a way around internal restrictions and confirmed a Monday morning delivery before 12:00. We received an SMS confirming delivery between 09:00-10.00 and the guys came just after 08:00. The delivery guys were extremely pleasant and helped unpack all the packing and cleared everything away. Unfortunately, one of the Chair frames was damaged, obviously caused at the Manufacturer. The Guys took the damaged item back with them and they suggested phoning Customer services to resolve the matter. Tried phoning Customer services but unfortunately had no luck. I managed to contact somebody on the phone, but she could not connect me directly with the department, but she would send an internal email asking them to contact me ASAP.......this was probably the only negative experience because they did not contact me, very disappointing. After waiting an hour for a respose and as we live close by, I jumped into the car and drove straight down. I found Lousie again and explained the situation. She again took everything in hand and a replacement part was delivered within an hour.....an excellent customer experience. We are extremely pleased with the product and hope to have many years usage. Louise is a star.....Thank you.

Massive stocks of quality items. Plants generally very good but some on the top end price wise. Loads of garden essentials and not so essentials. Landscaping products, tools, everything associated with outdoor living. Something for every one. Highly recommend the cafe. Not the cheapest but portions are good and the quality high.

Lovely garden centre with everything you need for your garden from plants to furniture. There's a lift and an escalator to get you to the first floor where there a very nice cafe with plenty of seating. Food looked lovely and the cakes amazing

This is a very large garden centre. Great selection of plants and all kinds of other products. Highly recommend the cafe upstairs. All areas are very dog friendly. Good pet store and dog foods for sale too. Nice aquatics department.

The garden centre itself sells a lot of overpriced (bad value) rubbish, like low quality LED lamps, some shaped like elephants with giant heads... Pointless...However, it has a very good cafe on the first floor (2nd floor for our American friends), which is my only reason to visit when passing through the area. It has good views, big windows and is fairly COVID safe with spaced seating and all orders brought to table, even the cakes are served by staff.Unfortunately, for some bizarre reason, the cafe stops all food at 3pm, plenty of people travel after that time (obviously) and the garden centre is open until 5pm, and I imagine the cafe is one of the only reasons people go there instead of the motorway services a few minutes walk away. It's a nice atmosphere in the cafe, but not worth a visit if you want something to eat after 3pm, just go to the motorway services a few mins walk away.

The garden centre as a whole was pretty good, there was plenty to feast your eyes on and if you like fish they sell those too, no marine unfortunately.I think the only thing that let the centre down was the cafe, I'm not saying the food was bad because it wasn't but the cutlery and the glasses weren't up to satisfactory standards with cleanliness, we had to give the forks a vigorous wipe down with a napkin and drank straight from the can.

Another garden centre that has now become a vast supply of over priced gift wares. Took us 10 minutes to find plants and gardening equipment. If you need a £5000 table and some candles you might be happy. When we found an item we wanted to buy the display item said £39 and the box said £139.Took 3 members of staff 20 minutes to confirm it was £39.

We visited this garden centre just to have a browse, then decided to go for some food. The garden is lovely, I do like have a look round there, but when we went for lunch there was 2 chefs that let that visit down. The chef burnt his finger then put his finger into his mouth, then gave some plates to a waitress without washing his hands. Then the same man then wiped his nose with the same hand and another man in the back eating chips whilst cooking them. No hands were washed!!
