Fox & Hounds Inn in South Kesteven

I've been here twice now and to be honest the waiting staff have no idea how the steaks have been cooked. There were 2 medium well and 1 medium rare, when the first was brought out and we asked what it was, the reply was, steak! All 3 were medium well and this review would have been 5 stars if your chef knew how to cook a rare to medium steak

A very welcoming atmosphere as soon as you step through the door. Great value, tasty food served with good old fashioned courtesy. Would highly recommend this little gem.

Fantastic food lovely and hot, atmosphere was fantastic in conservatory, sat with warmish sunshine coming through windows. Well mannered and very plight. Food was well worth the wait, me and my family were very impressed

Had a great meal last night, food was great, piping hot and plenty of it. Staff were very friendly and helpful and Joe the manager was so good with our granddaughter, she left with the biggest smile. Would certainly recommend and will defiantly be going again.

Had amazing quality food! The steak was amazing the service was spot on! Made sure everything was to our satisfaction, the cocktails are a must on another level!! I would recommend to eat here! 😋

I popped in with my family today as we were in the area and all I can say is it was excellent!The food was superb and very well priced, they do a fantastic children's meal deal menu with larger than normal options.All food was well cooked, tasty and staff were very friendly.We will be back.

This is the best pub in the area! Not only for the food, but also the drinks, the atmosphere and the staff are amazing. Nina and the rest of the team could not have been more accommodating. We went in with dogs, so they are pup friendly. The food is the highlight though!! It's nice to go somewhere that serves proper fresh food. Will 100% be going back.

Amazing food especially the Sunday Carvery great value for money. Children friendly and lovely warming environment. Excellent service and staff friendly and helpful. I Definetly recommend this pub

So a bit late as we went last weekend really enjoyed it. took the whole family, it was busy but food was out in no time at all staff were extremely polite helpful. I recommend the carvery the beef just melted in your mouth. I had some gammon as well plus your usual veggies Yorkshire's etc all really nice. For an extra 1.75 you can have more if you can. Personally the plates huge so i couldn't

Had a beautiful carvery, plenty of veg and lots of delicious gravy! The staff made us all feel very welcome, especially the baby. The desserts were equally scrumptious and then the bill came, it was great value for money so I would heartily recommend the fox and hounds to anyone.
