Outstanding. The food was amazing, staff were lovely friendly polite people. Clean well presented restaurant with a nice calm atmosphere. Hidden jem. Would highly recommend!

Went for a works Xmas lunch. Not too busy but starter was cold and pudding was just warm rather than piping hot. We did the British thing and just got on with it. However, I was told by a colleague it is usually pretty good here, hence choosing it. I will go again and hopefully give 5 stars as I do praise when deserved.

Food was fantastic. Good quality and choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent steak frites, very nice venue, very welcoming and helpful staff. Dog guests only allowed outside, but otherwise we'll recommended.

My family and I went for Christmas lunch. The food and service was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to all the staff for looking after my young son especially. Highly recommend

Discovered this gem of a place yesterday, what a find! Lovely decor, warm, friendly, spacious. Excellent choice of menu of home cooked food, found out too late you could order smaller portions! Soup superb, warm bread, fish and chips par excellence, no room for pudding unfortunately. Lovely covered outdoor area, with rugs. Super Christmas trees and decorations. Very friendly and attentive staff. I wish I didn't live over 30 miles away. Booking essential I would say.

Lovely food. Accommodation was nice and clean. Just a crack in the wash basin hence the 4 star it would have been 5 otherwise. Would recommend

Superb. Great indoors and outdoors. Great selection of beers and food Fish and chips cooked lovely and a huge fish. Other meals looked lovely. Staff very friendly and customer focused. Overall well done highly recommended.

Nice place, Warm and Cosy feel. Really lovely staff. Good food enjoyed both evening meal and breakfast. We stayed over and had a comfortable nights sleep in the main. Only complaint would be it felt awkward the people below could hear our every move and the shower came with a element of risk for a 6ft plus guy.Would definitely stay again though perhaps ask for ground floor next time.
