Iron Horse Ranch House in South Kesteven

What a lovely place! We chose this place as we were on holiday and it was dog friendly. But I'm do glad we did. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent (steak for him, rack of cajun ribs for me and the southern fried chicken for the girls) the food was cooked to perfection and we really didn't need a dessert. The customers were friendly as well and the place was so well decorated with memorabilia that we had lots to look at whilst waiting for the food to arrive.

Great restaurant with a warm welcoming atmosphere. Only had drinks but would go back for food as the meals coming out looked amazing.

Welcoming diner we booked a table for 7pm and travelled for 45 minutes to arrive there. We were told no ribs or steak available and some deserts also not available. I ordered a seafood basket not necessarily what I would of ordered at a diner but food quality was good and staff were very attentive. I would book again but check the full menu is available

I have ordered from here online. Sadly, the chicken had no flavour what so ever and desperately needed seasoning - it just tasted like it had batter without any seasoning. It was a shame as the quality was there but there was simply no seasoning. If I am honest, it is pretty painful to eat. However, I am not the type of person to just moan, I did enjoy the cowboy beans and chips.

Appalling service, no customer service! , We waited at least an hour, watched other tables who arrived after us being served. Nobody came to explain why we were still waiting for our food. We were a party of nine with four children who were getting very hungry. Eventually we left without having a meal. Other customers had seen what was happening and shouted at us not to pay for the drinks! Sadly, the meal was a birthday celebration for our two grandsons, which made it all the more disappointing.

We had our first visit here a week ago after being recommended by another biker friend. There’s lots of parking both on and off road. And once there lots of undercover seating both in the courtyard and inside the building.At the time of our visit they were very short staffed, but the service was still very good.But the food we chose was average for the price.

Friendly and very well kept, nice food quick service, good selection of draft beers which I tried most lol to be honest no bad points shame I'm not around for there event nights.

Thoroughly enjoyable evening in this popular bikers themed restaurant. Didn't eat but what was on the plates, burgers, ribs etc. that went passed me looked very good. Great live music in a very accommodating marque area to the rear. Definitely worth a visit.

**Last minute** - whilst out on the bike during the..small but lovely sunshine we had, I stopped off to enjoy some scenery..only to then be interrupted by my stomach rumbling! A quick phone call to these amazing people and I was booked within minutes. I arrived to be greeted by the lovely staff who showed me to a table near the river/lake. Which was really nice. To fuel me up for the ride home, I went for the Latino burger,chips and coleslaw which really hit the spot and was cooked perfectly. Always a great place with a real warm and welcoming greeting. Couldn't recommend the place enough.

We had a 3 hr ride to the iron horse on the hottest day of the year. We had a lovely welcome by a member of staff when we arrived which was a little early. We sat at the back on the decking next to the beautiful river. The food was lovely and very good value for money.There is a good choice on the menu. I didn't see much of the inside but other peoples pics look good.The staff were very friendly and chatty. What a great team you have.I definitely recommend the iron horse, well worth a visit. Perfect 👌
