Small portions..beans and tomatoes hardly worth being on the plate. Same with fried potatoes only 4 small cubes

Just had a cuppa but lady was lovely and menu looked nice

Great fried egg and bacon sandwich, times four, we enjoyed freshly cut potato chips and two large mugs of steaming coffee.As always the welcome was warm and genuine, all staff act in unison like one big successful family offering a human face.No request too much and they offer warm fresh bead, cake and good quality fresh fruit and veg.This is a well kept and welcoming haven for those who respect the beauty of rural retreats and home cooking.

I’m not one for leaving reviews but the food on Sunday 15th august 2021 was not fit for a pet you don’t even like! Slop - not only that but we had to wait an hour for two Sunday lunches ! The whole place needs a good clean and shake up! Truckers hours from civilisation would truck on by! Start with getting a chef not to boil veg for an hour.

Kids had a great time at the Halloween lunch today. They loved carving their own pumpkins 🎃 tucking into their pizza lunch 🍕 and the pumpkin soup was delicious. Thank you 🎃👻👀☠👿
