Pizza Express in South Kesteven

Our first time in over 2 years to a pizza express restaurant, and our first time visiting Stamford. The food was excellent the team were all very welcoming, and the rivers views topped it off we will definitely return here👍 10/10

Food delivered in an appalling condition, food spilled everywhere and driver refused to leave when I refused the order despite the fact I explained I had a sleeping newborn I was trying to keep warm… will never order through deliveroo again. I have tried to call the restaurant to discuss but they will not answer the phone.Update 19.12.21: I have spoken to deliveroo but they are not responsible for how the food was packed in the first place. Also doesn’t help that pizza express NEVER answer the phone. Regardless, I won’t be ordering again now I know about the rat infestation…Safe in the knowledge of this, I actually feel quite relieved I didn’t eat any of it.

The pizzas tasted of cleaner and only one member of staff wore a face covering and when members of the public were moving around they also didn't wear face coverings. The restaurant was quite busy and the shift manager had a bad attitude like he couldn't be bothered to be polite to his customers. Will not be returning!!

Located next the river in Stamford so parking is what ever you can find on the local roads. Staff where very friendly and gave brilliant service all night. Food was brilliant and would recommend as a great place to eat in Stamford. But would recommend you book ahead as it does get busy.

Great service initially, but they placed us (group of 4) next to a raucous table of 12 and the noise was unbearable. Unfortunately once we'd received our main courses the service became non-existent and after we refused the dessert menu we had the bill virtually thrown at us.

Pizza good - overpriced though. Claimed offer loyalty free doughballs at start. Fine. Come to the end bill. Got tesco club card vouchers. Can't use them with the free doughballs. Of course not. Waitress unable to sort it, takes me phone randomly to try and sort it. Uncomfortable experience. Pretty sad really. Oh well there are many other places to go!

My daughters friend works at Pizza Express in Stamford and she said they were closed last Monday because of RATS !!! ????How disgusting and disappointed I am specifically after we were there the night before, that means we ate the food that has rats all over it.I knew from the past this brunch has experienced rats infestation but still??How safe is it to eat there now because apparently it’s an on going issue???It definitely put me off to comeback.

Really nice for a meal out. We had a table overlooking the river, which was lovely to look at as the light was going. Very quick and friendly service, delicious food and great selection of non-alcoholic drinks. The still lemonade was very tasty. We'll visit again!

Just WOW!we have lived nearby for 2 years and never managed to get to this pizza express, tonight we visited with our family and it was so much more than we ever expected and so much more than any other pizza express that we have visited ever before.The staff greeting was unanimous and it just continued to be a great dining experience throughout.Great service and the best food within your chain without a doubt.The food was exceptionally fresh and tasty.Music was also great!Thank you team stamford,  it took us 2 years to get to you. It will certainly not take us this long to return.Thank you 🙏Lisa Lord and Family.

Very nice location in stamford, right by the river and only a 5 minute walk away from the long stay car park. Just make sure you have one of the online deals as without them it can seem quite expensive. Lovely staff and great to see them all cooking in front of us.
