This used to be a cheap venue to eat and drink but prices have really crept up recently, with many alcoholic drinks now over £5.00! The Buy One Get One Free Deal is not so great when you consider most meals are now heading towards £20.00. That said, the service is great here and staff seem very friendly.

Friendly pub on outskirts of town. Great range of beers,Chinese and spirits. 2 for 1 menu with varied choice even on Sundays. Good quality food, great service and reasonable prices, would highly recommend a visit.

the pub is lovely and the food is AMAZING! didnt manage to take a picture of my main but i had the cowboy burger and it was great! dessert was the chocolate crownie with custard! absolutely beautiful!

Accommodated a group of 19 with only a couple of days notice, the service was fast and on time, all meals out hot and together.Not one moan from our guests all said everything was as it should be, highly recommend and have eaten here quite a few times in a large group. Will be returning excellent value and service.

Booked online which was not too difficult this time.Arrived and seated promptly.Menu has not changed much and don't get putt off by the high prices it's a 2-1 menu. Service as good with quick drinks order and food shortly after. Not too long a wait for the food for 5.Clean toilets.On paying it's nice to know the tip is split between kitchen and front of house.

I like the idea of table service, it makes things a lot easier than queuing ar the bar. The dining area is spacious and the tables a good distance apart. The service was prompt and the waitress was friendly, she remembered us from a couple of weeks ago, she added a bit of humour whilst we were there. The steak I had was cooked to exactly to my preference and was reasonable tender. My friend had a chicken burger and told me it was good. The only thing that let the visit down was a dog bowl full of water was left on the floor next to our table. My friend moved the dish a few feet away and it was eventually taken away by the waitress when I pointed it out.This restaurant has definitely improved over the last few months and I well recommend it to my family and friends.

We had a great night, the service was very professional and welcoming. The food tasted great and the portions were very good. I do miss the specials board as current menu is quite small and seem to have been the same for a long time. It ended being very expensive as well

We used to come here all the time, but in our opinion food standards went down, and we stopped using, we decided to pop in for an on the moment meal and to be honest could not have been more pleased, food was like it was 4years ago, I don't know if they've had to up game since covid, but they definitely have. Would not hesitate to recommend again now, keep up the great work

We were greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. Service and food was excellent. Unfortunately I have several food intolerances Soya, Lactose, Ginger, Chicken and oats are the main ones - so I am very limited as to what I can eat from the menu.Other than that we couldn't have had better service.
