Best Indian takeaway I've ever had and I'm 58!Exquisite food and we only ordered because we're so tired from moving. Definitely recommend all the King Prawn dishes, I'm sure they were langoustines because they were enormous. So flavoursome and perfectly spiced.We'll be coming for a meal very soon😁😋🍾

Taj Mahal is one of the best tasting curry houses I’ve been to, however I have never “not had a problem”We have been there 7 times.The first time was a rare moment my wife and I had together without the children. She was 7 months pregnant and we booked a table. Date night!We arrived at 6:30 and after constant reassurance the table will be ready soon we left at 8:15. We gave up and my wife in tears because of hormones and over hungry.We were told next time we would eat for free. We would never have took up their offer but appreciated the gesture. This never happened, so we never had the chance to thank them and pay any way.We just assumed they had a rough night and it happens.A while later we ordered online. It was an hour late but amazing food.The next they accepted order and around an hour later cancelled the order saying “no driver has turned up” again one of them things.Next - 1.5hrs later than they said and again amazing food.Since then they have cancelled every order sighting “no driver”Perhaps this is because of our post code. It is Pe11 but if they actually Google the address they will see we are 3.7 miles away. Outskirts of market deeping.They have also delivered before, so we are repeat customers.Tonight yet again they accepted order, took money and then 1 hour later cancelled stating “no drivers for delivery”If they had called we would have collected. But nothing.1.45 hrs later we check and realise its not coming.So we could have collected, but decided to go elsewhere.It’s a shame because the food is brilliant, but the customer service is appalling!!!

Don't order from here using Just Eat - they confirmed order and time for 5 mile postcode - nothing arrived 2 hours later - best avoided. Please remove them Just Eat

Always amazing and this evenings meal was no different! Beautiful food, great service and friendly delivery driver. Our go to takeaway, always nice to dine in the restaurant too! Thank you for your great service yet again.

Went for Meal with my other half on Thursday the 3rd of Feb 2022😍1.The restaurant is very clean the hospitality was top notch 👌🏾👌🏾2 I had Crisp prawns 😋😋😋 they were very yummilicious 😋😋😋they were to die for👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾😋😋😋😋3. My main was lamb Bhuna with pilau rice , and honestly it was one of the best lamb dishes I’ve ever eaten.I would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back again for Valentines Day. I’m so happy the are open 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾😋😋😋😋😍

We have just had the most amazing meal here, the food was perfect and the service was outstanding. Best of all has to be the price afterwards which was a wonderful surprise! There is no other restaurant around Deeping or towns nearby which have this lovely kind of atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back very soon! Thank you for a great meal

Lived locally for years and always wanted to go here, and now that I’m an adult I could just go. Me, my partner and grandma went on a Tuesday evening and it was the first time for all of us. The service was slow at the start and one of the servers did look unwell and was working hard, with that said the food was really brilliant. Piping hot, you could taste the chicken was fresh, best meat samosas I’ve ever had and my grandma said it was the best Naan bread she’d ever had. Cosy little restaurant with a good atmosphere. Normally me and my bf would travel into Peterborough for meals out so glad we got a good restaurant locally.

Disappointed with the takeaway we had last Saturday 9th Oct.3 out of the 4 main courses were very red in colour, stained everything, and the meat tasted old.Such a shame as we've had excellent Meals there in the restaurant in the past

Absolutely LOVE coming to the Taj for a takeaway or a meal. It's been a firm favourite of mine since 2009 when I first came to Deeping. Always hot, always flavoursome. I really enjoy the lamb korma! ☺ portion sizes are huge and the service is great. Definitely advise going it to collect rather than get delivered as its 10% off if you do 😍

Exceptionally busy by 7 on a Friday night on January, but the staff are patient and polite and enjoy a joke, and the food was really, really good.
