The Black Horse Restaurant in South Kesteven

We visited today, our first time, and the interior was well laid out, we sat outside and ordered our food at the bar, the food was well priced and was very nice, it was hot and as described on the menu. The drinks were cold and wet, but on the expensive side, worth a vist

Lovely village pub with a great menu. Friendly staff and a wonderful garden great for kids and dogs. Went in the evening sat outside it was lovely and peaceful.

I organised a party at the Black Horse and would definitely recommend this venue. Gail was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We also stayed overnight and rooms are lovely and breakfast was delicious.

Very busy ( father's day ) but they delt with it very well.... Plentiful meat and veg all well cooked... Will return

What a lovely place. I've just been for a private function and I'm very impressed. Beautifully laid out room, very spacious, lovely outdoor space and caters for children. The food was good quality and the staff very helpful. The bar area was tastefully decorated with some great quirky items. I would recommend the Black Horse in Baston.

Cracking place to eat. Lovely food. Brilliant presentation. Great service. All at a reasonable price too. Would definitely reccomend.

Super friendly service, lovely atmosphere and THE BEST lasagne I've had in a long time 😋 The basket meals I saw on the next table looked really good too. Would definitely recommend

We went tonight to try the main meals for £10 Monday night offer. The pub is lovely and so is the staff but the food was mediocre at best. I had the chicken jalfraisi and to be honest I have had better frozen curries from Iceland I'm sorry to say. My husband had the burger which he was underwhelmed with. The White Horse is far superior

Our family of 9 went to Sunday lunch today to celebrate my Dad's retirement. The food was amazing, service was friendly, and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend The Black Horse and we will be returning.

Lovely little village pub doing your classic selection of pub grub. Nice modern interior with a half and half restaurant bar. Staff are friendly although sometimes can be a little busy on peak nights. The food is very pleasant and the portion sizes are great. The price is very competitive and eating out here won't break the bank. I've visited a couple of times and will certainly be back in the future.Also of note, is the lovely events space and rooms. Although I haven't personally tried them, I have friends that report good things.
