The pub looks lovely. Unfortunately the food is not, for the price I expected better. Frozen chip pitiful portion, frozen onion rings (undercooked) latte not a full drink. Filling in panini total letdown. Not the most friendly atmosphere.Needless to say not going to be returning. Real shame .

Delicious fish and chips lunch. Despite telling us there would be a 40 minute wait, food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. Friendly staff. Will definitely come again.

I love this place. Since the refurb by the castle it is lovely and light in the building now. The food is great and they put on music in the summer when ive been in. Dog friendly what more can a person ask for 😊

We came to The Dirty Duck for some lunch after a walk with the dogs and as soon as we sat down we felt unwelcome. The manager told us 'move your table when you're done' and 'go inside if you want food'.. No hello, no smiles, nothing. We went inside to order our food and drinks where the service was even worse- the manageress seemed rude and kept telling us 'you need to order food inside', when that was what we were doing. As a group of six we ended up ordering food separately and unfortunately if we would have know everyone felt the same at that time, we wouldn't have ordered anything and left. The food was the saving grace and baguettes were lovely, just so unfortunate that we walked in on hopefully what was just a bad day. Me and my partner have encountered the same experience previously a few months back but thought we would give it another try.. we wont be doing that again.

Went out for a ride on the motorbike in torrential rain and wind so it was a lovely stop off for a coffee. Situated by the canal it's a warm and inviting pub, staff are friendly and service is good. Must go back in the warmer weather so we can enjoy the outdoors area.

This is a quiet and classy country pub and small restaurant, with a lovely selection of snacks and drinks available. So pleased that they offered coffee after a walk! Other ramblers lived their hot chocolate. It is ideal for walkers, day-trippers, bikers and cyclists, a stone's throw from Belvoir Castle which you can walk to being only about 2 miles. There are also some lovely walks along the canal right next to this pub and the quaint little bridge is a must-see! A hide-away treat!

Belvoir valley and owned by the Castle Estate. Camping £25 + in the car park / camping area. Located by the Grantham Canal. Very Picturesque.

Lovely pub, lovely food. But for me it’s not many choices of main course, about desserts, looks good and tasty, I ordered red velvet cheesecake, but was run out 😔, finally grabbed meringue roulade with vanilla ice cream, tasty 😋!
