The Dolphin in South Kesteven

Amazing vegan menu! So different from the usual, limited menu offered in so many other places where I end up having 2 starters if I’m lucky - and having to ask the kitchen to hold the cheese or cream. Beautiful presentation! Chef Dan is amazing!!

Visited on a Monday for the half price vegan menu (every Monday!) and wasnt disappointed. Great food and service.

Amazing food! The staff are great - friendly, conscientious and helpful. We made the most of their 50% off veggie and vegan food for meat free Mondays and were blown away. Never thought I'd get sticky toffee pudding again since going vegan. They even do cocktails - it's just a fab pub! Tonight was our first visit but it won't be the last.

Excellent pub, great food, staff and service however the ladies toilets are not so good. Missing toilet seats and no sanitary bins. Otherwise it would be 4 or 5 star pub

I only popped in for a quick drink and all was great. Unfortunately I left a review for another place and accidentally posted it to the Dolphin. After a rapid phone call to apologise my tech savvy daughter managed to remove it and I posted this instead (under supervision).Lovely people. Lovely Lovely Lovely.

Consistently excellent food with a lovely atmosphere. The staff are very accommodating with my 2 year old daughter and are always friendly and professional. The best pub in town.

Very good fish and chips. The staff are friendly and the setting is cosy and clean. Also dog friendly. A good place to spend a few hours on a rainy and cold afternoon whilst visiting Eastbourne. Thanks for an excellent lunch.

We went to the dolphin pub while on holiday in Eastbourne and it was lovely. The food was delicious and they had half price on vegetarian and vegan food for meat free Mondays. The staff were friendly and it was great value for money. We were served by Martin who was very helpful and attentive.

Dolphin's 'Meat Free Mondays' 50% discount gets a big thumbs up! Super tasty vegan food. Vegetarian options too. Difficult to choose but we went for Smoked Tofu Salad and Vegan Fish n Chips. Great encouragement for customers wanting to go 'Meat Free' a day a week. Give it a go! 10/10 :-)
