The London Inn Pub in South Kesteven

We wanted coffee and cakes! The London Inn provided us perfectly, 😍😋💯 we had lemon meringue pie and a cheesecake with a flat white coffee and a cappuccino, sat in their beautiful outside seating area over-looking the square on a gorgeous sunny day in early March 2022!Superb, friendly and super efficient staff. A definite must try when you're in Stamford.Highly recommended! 👍

Food was great. Well cooked, tasty and very generous portions. Brilliant value for money. Ordering off app was easy but the downside bring in a large group all the food came at slightly different times. Staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Will definitely be visiting again.

The London Inn is a very busy place which is a good sign. You never have to wait that long for a table as it’s a large efficient venue. We are regulars for lunch time works meetings and always have a good time. The food is fresh, quick and great value. The best place in town for a casual dining experience

Must say I’m so highly disappointed in the food & the service actually. Last time I came here it was unreal. Food was amazing. So I decided to to bring a couple of people to enjoy the food. I ordered what I had the first time. Fajitas I was so looking forward to it however the steak came out looking white. The staff was then extremely rude arguing with me telling me how it’s marinaded. Absolutely it may of been marinaded however it would be more red or brown once cooked. I was insulted. So the waitress after arguing with me for 5 minutes asked me what I would like instead. My chips was already on the table so as was other peoples food so I order tapas quick and easy so I could eat with the people I came with. She went to the kitchen which I thought anyway however someone a little more senior came over just as rude which was highly annoying so after arguing again with me for another 5 minutes he asked me for my order. Well I had made my second order 15 minutes prior to that so I was not prepared to wait any longer. So I had a plate of chips. Fuming to be honest won’t be telling anyone else about the place or it’s chicken looking steak,. Good look with the new kitchen because if it’s making red meats look white I advise you go back to the old kitchen. I’ll be sticking to cosy club from here and out.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Enjoyed a fabulous Sunday 'King's Roast'. Have been unable to walk for the last few days. 😊👍

Met my mum and dad here for lunch today. I haven't been there since my college days. I must say I was impressed. Pub was very clean and tidy, service time was very quick. I had a doom bar to drink was well kept, not my go to ale of choice but it was the only one, might just be as its a Tuesday. I ordered the classic burger and it came out exactly as I had requested, I was a very tasty well cooked burger. My parents had jacket potatoes which also were very good. My only negative thing to say is the ordering app, was very fiddly took us 25 mins to get the order placed and paid for. I later saw people with real menus so I'm guessing we should of asked at the bar for them. Overall can't fault the experience.

Really pleasantly surprised. Was worried about the quality of the food as the menu was so vast, but it was all good and we will be back.Upstairs feels more like a restaurant so glad we were sat up there with out kids.Have been in just as grow ups for drinks when they had live music on and this was also good.

Superb pub, food is very good quality. Staff are friendly and efficient, Sophie looked after us and she worked hard to make sure we had a good time 👍. Pub even has a side room if football on TV is your thing. Large airy interior with a covered outdoor area for Summer. Well worth visiting if you are in Stamford. Enjoy. M

Very nice place to go for a meal or to meet for a drink. We had ribs an the portions were twice what you would get in America. Staff were very nice. The service was great even though it was a busy Saturday evening. The menu had a great variety and the value was surprisingly good. We'll be back.

I would say the service was really good and one of the young waitresses was very helpful. The chicken grill was nice my wife said and the barbecue chicken was that my son had and also my other son said the fish and chips were nice. Only I was disappointed with my food🙁. The burger was dry and no taste what so ever not even seasoned. No pepper of anything. Just dry meat. Onion rings were just too oily and no taste. Fries were good though. Needs improvement on the burgers and onion rings.
