The Recruiting Sergeant in South Kesteven

Absolutely stunning food reasonably priced amazingly cooked never had food so good in a pub before 5stars

Good service, great food, lovely atmosphere, worth a visit

Food was excellent, atmosphere was great 👍 & the pudding came with custard.

11 of us, plus a toddler and a baby. The table was perfect, the food delicious- it came quickly and was hot, huge portions. Really good value for money. But the best bit was the service....really attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Thank you 🙂

Service was terrible. We ordered coffee and we had finished them by the time the waitress came to take our order! We didn't get asked if we would like more drinks at all and the service was incredibly slow! The food was really good, just really let down on service. Wasn't at all busy but was a Tuesday afternoon.

The freshly cooked food is second to none. The staff are polite and helpful. The cosy atmosphere adds to the ambiance of the pub

Food from main menu (scampi, (Huge) chips and salad) as described, Scampi and Chips served very hot. Reasonably quickly. well presented. will be going back.

The waitress is super friendly and informative and food is great. Cosy pub with a relaxed atmosphere, highly recommend

Had a lovely meal here on the last night of our holiday. Food was all fab, and the service by Molly was delightful. Really lovely lady who was attentive, chatty and left us smiling every time she came over. Highly recommended!

We went for a family meal and booked for 4 adults and a child. We had 2 additional adults on the day and it was not a problem.Food is great - home cooked pub classics served with excellent service.Would like to also recognise our amazing waitress Molly! She was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble!
