The Royal Oak Swayfield in South Kesteven

Stayed here as a quick getaway for the weekend, to use as base for seeing some of South Lincolnshire. Food and staff were great, beer options a little limited, but the room and breakfast also good. The curry (pictured) was particularly nice. Would gladly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stop over for a night. The rooms are well appointed and clean, but can be a little chilly (there are additional heaters and very snug blankets provided, though).

Wonderful olde worlde pub, full of charm and cheer. Super friendly staff and great drinks and snacks. Reasonable prices.

We stayed in the accommodation for 2 night. It is separate from the pub wish is great as we were not disturbed by any noise from the pub. Good size room, dog friendly. Very covid19 secure. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff couldn't do enough to help. Highly recommended.

We had such an amazing experience here! It was a hotel booked for a festival, and me and my best friend Alex were really struggling as all taxis were booked up - the owners son took us, and then on the way back, we could not get a lift and we rang the hotel & they picked us up! We couldn’t believe it, the owner was so so lovely. I would definitely recommend, the rooms are lovely and homely, and super clean! I would definitely recommend to anyone! Thank you for the wonderful stay & experience!

The pub is nice enough but its not open when it says its open online.Ive just walked 4 miles in the pissing rain from Corby Glen because i thought id come for a pint since you were advertised as open.The dog and I are now drying off infront of the fire at The Woodhouse with a crisp pint of Hop House and a bowl of water... lovely.If you change your opening hours on google, ill change my review.Cheers

Great welcome at a lovely village pub. Good pub grub and an excellent breakfast! Really good, dog friendly family room. We enjoyed our stay!

Stayed for a family christening. Very friendly pub and atmosphere, good food and ale, super value room. We will be back.

Food is okay, but don't take the fennel and orange chicken because it's weird. Room was not ready despite being listed as available on the day. Had to wait 30 minutes to get the key. Even then when I got to the room, there was a lot of hair (human? Dog?) in the bathtub and in the bed! I was too tired to ask to have it changed so I slept in it. I guess the sheets were not changed, but just made up as they had plenty of creases and you could feel fabric freshener just sprayed on them. Will never come back.

Visited here on a Saturday evening. We had 3 lovely meals in nice comfortable surroundings. The staff were very pleasant and attentive and the prices were very reasonable. Will be visiting here again soon.
