The Side House in South Kesteven

Lovely little cafe, I've called in a couple of times whilst cycling and the coffee and cake has been divine. Today took my mum for a bday lunch, service and food was excellent, including a candle in the cake for mum. Thanks ladies for making a lovely day!

Delicious toasted panini with salad, dressing and homemade slaw. Took home carrot cake to share. Will be returning and recommending to all i know.

I've been inside now, didn't disappoint. Very cosy and comfortable. The cake and scone we had with our milkshakes will bring all the boys to the yard. Really delicious reasonably priced and very quickly prepared. Forgot to take a photo.

Was on a dog walk holiday and looked for a breakfast spot on our travel. Came across the little gem that is The Side House! I got an ultimate breakfast butty and a sausage roll to go, both were absolutely delicious and we got tempted by the cakes too! I left with 3, no regrets. Highly recommend.The service was absolutely lovely as well, got greeted by the kitchen staff and the lady at the register. Was offered to bring our food to the car while we waited but we chose to wait inside. We didn’t have to wait for long even though there was plenty of custom.Couldn’t of asked for more.

Wow. Go there. Where is Claypole? Well you’re going to find out because this is worth going to now. Stop what you’re doing and go now. We got paninis, sandwiches, milkshakes and cakes. Incredible portions, prices, selection and quality. All home made with love and care. The staff are awesome and really made us feel at home. We had a baby with us too and they were more than accommodating of him. Ok so it’s a tad small for winter. So go in the summer when the sun is out or book so you guarantee a table. This place is magic.

I asked for bacon burnt it was not, the beans were cold. I essentially paid £10.80 for a dry sausage and some bread. Won’t be going again

Ladies that dine would strongly recommend, vast menu choice, excellent cakes-although we had to take ours home as couldn't manage to eat anything else after lunch plus there was a variety of specialist milkshakes.

Excellent food, very friendly staff would highly recommend. Cakes look lovely so getting a couple to takeaway.

Fantastic coffee shop with very friendly happy staff serving delicious food. Definitely the best cafe in the area, recommended 110%!!
