Good atmosphere, excellent service, food excellent very comfortable dinning area and superb Sunday lunch. We will definitely be going again.

Absolutely fantastic stay at The Houblon Arms. The staff were friendly and attentive, the accomodation was beautiful and the food was spectacular!! Can't wait to visit again. Was also very impressed to note that the Head Chef was assisting in the restaurant as a server/waiter due to staffing pressures as a result of COVID. What fantastic team work. Very pleased with our experience.

Stayed for two nights here and did enjoy ourselves. Room was beautiful service was good and so was the hot tub. However we had a few issues. The WiFi was appalling didn't work at all for us. Secondly, in our opinion the restaurant is quite overpriced for what you get. We spent £78 for two people and barely had anything. I think it would help if the prices were on the website so we was made aware as we aren’t the type of people to leave for it being overpriced. The food was okay though. Our bed did creak a lot which would wake us up from random noises. Also with the hottub, was lovely but a curfew of 10pm is ashame. Think it was a little strange adding a lot of drinks in a mini fridge and charging you for each one you drank and even then you could go down to coop and get them cheaper.Probably would return but not for as long and probably not for restaurant. Staff were lovely and very welcoming

Everything was great, the service, the food, and the room with the jacuzzi. I will definitely recommend it to friends and I will be 100% back. Many thanks to the restaurant owner for everything. Fantastic work done.

Truly the most lovely,warm atmosphere, the owners and staff Truly bend over backwards for you,the rooms,food are and is to die for,you won't want to leave,much love to you all and I had an amazing stay.

The place amazingly beautiful, very nice staff, gelicious food, the only what let us down,it prices, we had apartment king size, with privet hot tub, and after dinner we was so exited to use privet hot tub, but u not aloud use it after 12 night, so we spend night, dinner, and left with no night privet hot tub, for 500 pound.

A delightful setting for anyone wanting to unwind, escape and indulge in quality food and drink , whilst enjoying the high standard of service in an exceptional setting, providing a unique and special dining experience.

Overnight stay in a wonderful room with a very enjoyable breakfast in the morning. The staff were all friendly and provided excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again in the future.

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend for our wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed.The room was great, the huge four poster was so comfortable and could have slept 6 people! John, the owner, and his staff are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are very attentive and friendly, you immediately feel at home there.The food is superb and the cheese board is just something else.And to add the final touch, the private hot tub is a great touch.We will definitely return for another visit.

Fantastic place, found purely by accident when we couldn't make our trip to Manchester. Far exceeded our expectations. The history of the building is wonderful and, despite having all the mod cons you could need and more, everything has been done tastefully with clearly no expense spared. John, the owner, greeted us, along with Ellie and Lewis and all made sure our stay was as wonderful as possible. The four poster bed was a welcome luxury having never slept in one before, and the rooms were absolutely pristine. There was a mini bar too which obviously you had to pay for but as opposed to other places, the prices were the same as what they were at the bar and everything was set out in the very informative information folder so you knew how much things cost.The Jacuzzi was very private and we made great use of it - chilling with a nice drink and no children!!The food in the restaurant was exquisite and exceptional.We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.
