Waterside Garden Centre in South Kesteven

Lovely garden center. It's very popular and gets busy! Has a wide selection of all plants and trees, pots, ornaments, garden furniture etc. It's got a nice restaurant too! It's a round trip of 60 miles for us but it's worth it. Thank you.

Great staff, great food, Sunday roast needs a little more gravy.Lots of rules and regulations about where you can eat, you can't sit in the beautiful outside seating area on the grass🤔🤔🤔 so it was empty, but you can get served on the patio, even though there were plenty of people asking to sit outside!

Pros: All under cover so no problem whatever the weather, plus no frost damaged plants. Plants were in good condition and well looked after.Cons: Nothing here you can't get elsewhere, very regular and small choice of plants. Awful Ikea like one way system to get to the tills with signs saying no turning back. A poor disabled woman was refused access to the tills via the exit so had to hobble on crutches all the way round the maze to pay for her goods. Saw nothing to make think it was worth returning when I have better centres closer to home.

General out of town garden centre with usual over priced produce. Nice selection of plants though. Not the friendliest of places, you MUST follow a set route with strict instructions not to return or retrace your steps, so if you want to look again at something- forget it. No bags or boxes to put purchases in, so your carefully selected plants are at risk in the car. I don’t like being told where I can and can’t go in a store and just like to meander. This is not a store for carefree browsing.

Went into the aquarium shop earlier today. Very well stocked (far better than other locals I've found). Eva was absolutely amazing, giving sound advice and genuinely passionate about what she does. We've definitely found our go-to place for future purchases!

Really impressed how this garden centre has developed from meagre beginnings to be one of the best in the area.Yes there is much to see along with other retail units including Pavers Edinburgh Wool, Pets Corner, Maidenhead Aquatics along with others. The restaurant is always a delight to visit for an excellent choice of meals, snacks and refreshments. 😎💙🇬🇧👍

We often go to this garden centre as the prices are very competitive. Plus there are other shops adjacent such as Edinburgh Woolen mill etc. This photo is of Hunstanton but we do buy our red geraniums hear in Waterside. There is also a very good restaurant. Parking is easy, no restrictions. Flat entrance for the disabled and elderly.

I do really like this garden centre, lots of good parking a nice selection of outside plants and trees as well as some shops before you enter the centre itself. Nice butchers and selection of cakes but pretty expensive even fir a garden centre.The cafe is ok, it has a good selection of choices but the quality is not that great with the food and beverages just being average.As far as garden plants and accessories go it has a great choice but once again more expensive than many others, but nonetheless a good place to visit.

So much dedication and effort can be taken into account when you walk through the current Christmas decorations throughout. The extra decorations really reward the garden centre 5/ 5! 👍👍🎄

Waterside is an annual pilgrimage for the build up for Christmas. Kids love it. Everything you need for Christmas under one roof. Presents, decorations, Games, Tree and with the excellent food hall and butchers just one shop does it all. Well worth the travel.Parking is plentiful, good clean facilities and usually a top class restaurant. Sadly not open today but not a problem.
