Awesome little chippy, brilliant food, good value, big portions lovely staff and chips are cooked in beef dripping which is just winning 😋

Always great quality food. Staff are always pleasant and friendly.

Decent fish and haggis. Chips were not very fresh. Got my order wrong which was a shame. Not really worth the extra price over other chippies.

I attended Wellies on Tuesday night. When I arrived it was extremely busy. There was queues outside and in however this did not deter me. I placed a rather large order including prawns and squid and waited for my food, the wait was longer than usual but watching all our food being cooked fresh to order is definatley a plus for me and the wait did not disappoint .... our food was lovely as always. I would just like to say to the woman who was cooking and the two young girls on the counter... you did an amazing job well done 👏 although you were under huge pressure with all eyes on you, you did great. I hope your boss really appreciates you all. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Gorgeously fresh fish and easy online ordering with a separate external hatch for collection. Always ready in time with a smile.

It was delivered on time, batter was nice and crispy. That’s about as good as it gets. Chips were anaemic, fish was over cooked, peas were tasteless, wife had haggis that was over cooked and lacking the necessary kick of pepper. Very disappointing considering the great reviews we have read.

Last time I had deep fried haggis was on the Isle of Skye 2 years ago so expectations were high ! ....And Wellies delivered!! Their deep fried haggis is majestic will be returning for another 😊....Ow and chippy chips 😉
