Delicious, definitely recommend

*NOT A VERY SPECIAL CHOW MEIN*Turned up early and piping hot which seemed positive HOWEVER...I genuinely could have/should have purchased a £1 microwave meal as I believe I would have had a more satisfactory dining experience.Zero flavour, Zero effort, Overcooked dry meat, and Stodgy noodles. Vegetables left to a size capable of winding a full sized badger if thrown at force.They do not take Card so had to obtain cash prior to delivery. (Annoyingly inconvenient, its 2021)Save your money.

First of all when the driver arrived an hour later we got our food, and when we did we noticed that they had missed the black been sauce.That was strike one.And then we finally got the black bean sauce, we smelt the chips, chicken balls and prawn crackers and they smelt like sick.Strike 2.Then we tasted the chicken balls, chips, and prawn crackers, and to our Surprise the tasted like sick.And that was strike 3Overall I wouldn’t recommend this at all because the food is Disgusting.

This Chinese is amazing, I have been searching for REAL Chinese for two years now and finally found this gem. I have a feeling the bad reviews are competitors posting the comments. There is a reason this place is one of the oldest restaurants in Stamford. Because it’s great food

Excellent food...1st time for Zen and we were not disappointed...all the dishes were cooked to perfection... definitely would order again...

Got here quick but not the real Chinese Chowmein. Horrible bland greasy full of soia. Chips bad and dry

The food was ok. I understand different people have different tastes and therefore this may be just for you. However, it wasn't to my taste. There are plenty of Chinese restaurants to choose from and this wasn't my favourite.

Worst Chinese I’ve ever had.Waited 80 minutes for greasy flavourless dishes. The curry was less than half a portion.Ordered Singapore noodles which smelt & tasted like sick.Food delivered freezing cold, when tried to call takeaway because they had caller ID refused to answer call.I would not recommend this place, it was grotesque food.

Beef in black bean sauce was oddly sweet and spicy? Sweet and sour chicken barely had sauce and vegetable was raw. Sad because usually very good.
