ARTea room in South Northamptonshire

Great food, lovely atmosphere, a bit quirky. The Coronation Chicken sandwich is fab! The menu choice is wide and varied as is the choice of teas.

Nice place. Plenty of free parking. On a small private estate with a few other shops. Food really nice. Vegan/vegetarian choices. Popular place for afternoon tea, which looked lovely. Our second visit. Just off Watling St north of Milton Keynes

Just had a truly delicious cream tea here, bought as a gift from friends. Everything was superb, huge choice of tea, fresh selectable sandwiches, cakes & scones. Lovely atmosphere & fab crafts for sale. A real little gem. Cant wait to return 5/5*

Absolutely love the ARTea Room. Been here many, many times and can never fault the food or the lovely friendly people working there. I recommend to friends and family, and everyone always agrees with me, it's a wonderful little tea room. Don't hesitate to give them a try. Top tip: If you want to guarantee a table during busy times, just book in advance. If you have any allergies, etc, talk to them in advance - they are brilliant at accomodating. Any problems...talk to them!! 100% love this place :)

Good food and very filling. Only place I've been where you order a hot chocolate and actually get a hot chocolate. Only downside was, it was very difficult to find. Sat nav was no use at all. Would recommend despite not being able to find it very easily.

I love popping in for lunch. The food tastes good, everyone is really friendly and it just has a lovely vibe overall. There are also still options for coffee drinkers 😅.

Received a voucher for Christmas and thought we would use it here. Booked for a Friday afternoon. Very easy to find. The setting was so peaceful and beautiful as the complex looks over a field. The staff was polite and welcoming. Loved the art and traditional decor. We arrived at 12 and seems like we are the first customers to arrive. We were served pretty quickly. The afternoon tea had a good selection, as well as sandwiches there was also a handful of fruit. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. I would definitely visit again!

The afternoon tea here was amazing! So much food, lots of variety, free refills, and they gave us some free crisps on the side too! Lovely staff. (One tip - please turn the heating/radiators up!!)

Decided to join my daughter today for a cream tea ....11am she asked me and my 8 year old I said yes ...called booked us in ..off we went...sat down realised I probley wouldn't be able to eat pasties as I gluten free so went to talk to man serving ...wqs told to sit down he would come to me in a sec ...after he had delivered these boxes in his hands next door ...we waited 10 min later he came back ..I said I would have to cancel my cream tea because of my dietary requirements...he said " you can't we prepare in 24 hour s before you can't cancel ,,,:I then asked hows thats possible only booked a hour ago .....his response was well you have to pay .....I do not at all ...my daughter a solicitor was shocked by the way he was talking and told him we don't have to pay for goods not used ..my 8 year old got upset so I said let go girls and got up ...the man moved in frount of door and said well you are not leaving till u have payed ...we said call police ...he then said ...get out and never come back ...we left ...never have I been treated so bad avoid this place. if you want to change your mind or have dietary condition ....u will be posting on twitter later a video ..and I have read your repliy all lies ..I live locally and I will tell all my friends and family about your service ..I did approach you and was told to sit down ...I did and I waited for 15 min ....he did not open door at all ...I felt threatened and told my children to get up as we were leaving .he then moved across round to other side of table to block door and open his arms up stopping us leave ....I opened the door myself ...bad service ...rude man ...and a liar too .luckily for me I have recording from my phone of conversation so people can hear for themselves . Rude avoid if possible .I think people need to be aware ....this treatment is not what you expect and pandemic mentioned ....well be nice to people when they explained they have disabilities . This was a first treat out spoiled by your attitude....making kids upset is not ok ...BAD BUSSINESS SENCE

No vegan options on the menu or any mention that they serve them, BUT they do so you have to ask. They had vegan cheese, margarine, and a couple of cakes. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My vegan sandwich was served with vegetable crisps and a plain salad, overall it was tasty. They have a great selection of teas, and the others' cream teas went down well.
