I really wanted to like this place. The actual location is lovely. However, service slow and not particularly friendly. Also lots of tables left uncleared and floor covered in food. Not a pleasant experience unfortunately. Shamr as the garden centre itself is nice.

Great place. Often break a journey here for a bite to eat. Miles better than motorway services and you can buy a chicken while you're at it too if you like. Home made cakes and nice range of teas in abundance.

Good coffee in a nice spacious environment. Would have given it 5 stars but for the completely useless ordering app. Even if the real world queue is out of the door it'll be quicker than trying to make use of app.

We had a lovely experience. I spend most of my time in restaurants and cafes. This place is lovely. Staff were pleasant and food was really nice. Food and drinks were reasonably priced and tasted lovely. Lovely listening to birds cheaping. Thank you

Clean and tidy. We had soup and sandwiches, for which the soup was homemade and really flavoursome and the hot sandwich choice was good. Portions were good too. Will definitely come again.

Thought we would pop down for a scone and coffee, and not for the first time we were ushered away from sitting in the greenhouse area where it was lovely and sunny and warm, and told we must sit inside, this has happened on more than One occasion, this time we just cancelled and went else where, we asked a chap that has work at Bell for some time why this keeps happening and he said it's because its a large site and they need to start cleaning done before closing, it was 3:30pm the cafe shuts at 5pm, it doesn't take hour and a half to wipe tables, very very poor, this place is so close to being great but keeps letting it self down, and judging by the recent reviews it's starting to get a poor reputation.

Due to staff shortages the café was operating a severely reduced menu (beef curry or toasties, sandwiches and baguettes) which we knew about in advance but when we arrived at 12:30 we were turned away as they could not cope with the demand. We will try again another time though.

It was belting with rain and bitterly cold so it was nice to sit by the fire for hot chocolate and toasted teacake, and meet the family for breakfast.Large clean cafe,Lots of free parking,Great interesting shop andPet shop for the more unusual pets.Been before & will go again.

Whilst in the vicinity I thought I would visit for the first time as noted gluten free referenced on Google reviews. I proceeded to order a hearty Jacket Potatoe thinking they would be readily available in the oven, alas that was not meant to be. After waiting 1 hour to no avail it came time to proceed for a refund, the choice of Somerset cheddar and shallot crisps from the adjoining shop were nice but did not have the same impact on one's palate.

Went for brunch a few weeks ago with friends . The remote service doesn’t work ! Order via the app, waited 15 minutes for our drinks to come along , 2 of which were cold drinks. All the staff seem to be teenagers that clearly don’t want to be there as everyone we were served by looked miserable . And everything we asked for seemed like hard work. But quite sure what all the hype is about, was very busy, but will not be going back.Prices are high , and food /service etc is not worth the money
