Brave Old Oak in South Northamptonshire

My wife and I had a wonderful lunch here a few days ago. We ordered sausage and mash and it melted in the mouth and was very reasonably priced. The landlord and landlady were great hosts and we will certainly be eating in the Brave Old Oak again.

We turned up with a hungry party of 6 in the middle of a saturday lunch, bar staff were really accommodating and friendly. Simple, good pub food, quick service, will definitely come back soon!

Wow, walked in for a drink at 9.40. Nobody at bar, just a lovely man & his dog (Barney) 6 of us went to sit down when a unsympathetic worker said we`re closed. I asked what time, she replied 10. A opportunity of a £40+ round missed on a Tuesday, must me doing ok!The plough next door however was great with a range of board games to entertain.

Wow, having a lovely few evening drinks pre Silverstone experience! Went to a few beautiful welcoming pubs along the high street, stumbled upon the Brave old oak, at 9:40 to be told the are only open till 10... So they couldn't serve us..there was 6 of us, I don't u understand why when they are open untill 10? ,🤔 Why turn 6 paying customers away! Went back to the plough next door who happily served us with a welcoming smile 😊

Had a amazing nite. found this little gem on my travels the food was brilliant and they had a live band on too which you dont find alot nowadays which was great i will definitely be going back 😁😁🕺oo i can't forget the staff they made my nite wish i could of stayed longer there

I often visit the Oak to meet up with my brother and friends the pub is lovely the staff are amazing drinks are cheap and good quality highly recommend

Really nice pub, welcoming to families with young children, lovely food and great portion size , excellent service very accommodating. Definitely will be coming back again

We came for a meal (2 adults 2 kids) was made to feel welcome soon as we stepped in. The food was great, service was great and atmosphere was great. Will definitely recommend and will be definitely coming back.

Good staff and food was very good quality always clean a great pub to have a time in in as well as the music 100 percent recommend
