5 of us had a lovely Sunday roast meal, a good size and our dog got one too, really friendly staff and dog's, all old fashioned looking inside.

Great little country pub, really friendly atmosphere and fantastic food. Highly recommended 👍

Outstanding effort from a small but very energetic and altogether amazing team. Our regular Friday night fish&chips venue and an institution. Lovely local pub with a proper atmosphere and local produce. Dog friendly and loved by all. Highly recommended.This place makes people happy. Just look at his face.

We came for Sunday Lunch recently and have to say it was one of the best Sunday Lunches we've had.We went back tonight for an evening meal as the steaks are supposed to be excellent.Well, they were outstanding! Cooked to perfection and the chips were just as good too. Wonderful puddings ended the evening.Seriously, try here!

One of the best Sunday roasts we've ever had and excellent puddings. This is a very dog friendly pub, which we love so don't be surprised if you're greeted by the pub dogs, Padfoot and Molly. Very friendly service and great prices, highly recommend coming here.

Happened by this pub whilst trying to find somewhere to meet our daughter Mid way between North and south and what a find it was! Lovely staff, lovely locals and as dog lovers we weren't short of dogs to make a fuss of! Great food and can't recommend enough!!!!

Dropped in for a Sunday afternoon pint and was not disappointed! Lovely warm log fires, very friendly doggos, very polite and friendly people and great beer straight from the barrel. Lovely rustic bar and we will be returning. A lot.
