Costa Coffee in South Northamptonshire

Last night I had the most depressing Costa experience I've ever had. At Costa inside Tesco Hunsbury. As I entered Tesco I looked across and couldn't tell whether Costa was open or not. Lighting was almost non existent and most chairs were already on tables as well as areas cordoned off. A handful of uninviting tables remained in the middle of this gloomy setting. A number of people seemed huddled up in a tiny area like some warzone disaster. Reluctantly my wife and I who have been going here for years approached the counter. "Takeaway cups only" we were informed. I was very tempted to take away but we sat in the most awful Costa establishment you've ever seen. It was 5pm. Two hours before they close. But it looked closed from the outside. Totally uninviting and dismal. I looked around and noticed that hole in the ceiling that's been there for years still isn't fixed. Not the kind of welcome you expect from a multi million pound company like this. I was glad to leave when the time came. Thanks Costa for the most appalling coffee shop experience. I spent over £10 to sit in your coffee shop that I can only describe as an embarrassment to your company. Congratulations.22/04/22Went in last night. Somewhat better than last time. "Takeaway cups only" again. What is it with this Costa? Don't you have a working dishwasher to clean real cups? So many times I've heard this phrase over the years. A completely unattractive Costa to visit. Not the experience it used to be.

Short wait for a regular Americano. Everything you'd expect from the motorway service facilities. Not particularly busy, very clean and tidy. Nice break on the journey home.

How can anyone give a good review if you don’t bother to update your www about being shut or even bother to put a notice up the entrance - now you know there is no customer!

Rip off costa bomb,Expected to pay £7.40 for bacon roll and flat white.Other costa coffee on othe services have meal deal, both for £4.00.However this costa does not participate in the deal and charges rip off prices.Shame on costa coffee. Use mc Donald's instead.

My partner and I spent over £5 for a single espresso and a flat white as a little pick me up on our journey home.When back in the car we realised the flat white was skimmed milk with no coffee and not even properly frothed and the express was like drinking water from a dirty coffee cup.We are now looking for another coffee shop.

Very weak coffee. Half full basket as barista missing the basket with the coffee. Asked for a replacement drink and explained why my coffee was weak. Barista did same again. £6.00 for two cups of coloured milk.

Very pleasant and efficient staff but the Flat White coffee was so disgusting it was undrinkable. At over £3 for a cup of nasty flavoured dishwater it has convinced me never to buy coffee from a motorway Costa again, it was that bad. I poured it away after two mouthfuls.

Awful! Overstaffed to the point that the queue was out the door but several staff members were messing around stacking cups and ignoring people. We ordered two medium lattes and received one small and one medium. Walking away, one of the staff then called us back apologising, saying she forgot to put coffee in one of the drinks??????!! And then we finally get out, go to enjoy, and the milk in both has curdled. Bit disappointed to say the least.

Customer service was good but person who was making my drink forgot how to make it in brand standard another thing she wasnt happy after when I said to her that my drink should be made properly with salted caramel around even didnt say sorry didnt say nothing(no smile). I ordered salted caramel crunch.

Wanted a peach ice tea. Got a warm ice tea asked for it changing no ice asked for refund staff where rude and not very helpful. I drink a lot of these and know what they should taste like. Will not go there ever again
