Absolutely fantastic! The best Indian dish I've had (in the UK).

Outstanding value on Sunday (or Wednesday) banquet night with starter, main, side, rice, bread for £12 and the food was tasty with rich sauces and well spiced. The lamb starter was apparently a little chewy but I thoroughly enjoyed my veggie dishes. One of the stand out features is the engaging staff who put on a great show and make it an enjoyable experience in an informal and friendly restaurant

My name is Emma and I am 9 years old. I go to the Dilraj with my Mummy and my sister Hannah (she is 6).We love the curry so much it is always so tasty and there is lots of it. The dilraj has the best curry I have ever had. The people who work there are always really friendly and sometimes they even give me a extra chocolate at the end.I ❤️ THE DILRAJ

Great place. Brilliant food. Quaint inside. Jay was extremely friendly and hospitable. My boy who is quaintly called Dilraj loved it. Thanks all at Dilraj. Even gave Dilraj a card from Dilraj. Love it. Thank you all.

The wife and I stopped here for an impromptu date night as we travelled through Towcester. We received a great welcome at the door and ordered our food without issues. The food arrived in good time and was great, my wife even had food left which we took away; great portion size, she ate it for lunch the following day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We paid at the end and the bill was very reasonable considering the price hikes elsewhere. If we're ever back in this direction we will definitely consider stopping by again.

Been coming here for years had no problems food and service great.Last 3 times I’ve had food missing and wrong and the final straw is my madras was not even spicy it was like eating lamb in gravy. Very disappointed

Decent food, average-to-poor service. I came here with my wife and friends for an informal catch-up meal. Drinks and poppadoms came quickly, even if the waiters were somewhat cold and brusque. As vegans, Indian restaurants are great options and there was lots on the menu to choose from. It'd be helpful for the menu to mark what contains dairy or eggs as naan has both, for example.Service for mains was slow although we were in no hurry so not an especial issue. We ordered two vegetable curries with a peshwari rice and garlic paratha. All decent if not mind-blowing, although the paratha was fantastic. Order this!It took awhile for us to get the bill and we ended up just going to pay at the bar. I paid by card and it was all done behind the desk; not great that the machine isn't visible while payment is being taken. The receipt all checked out but it felt a bit underhanded. In summary, an average Indian restaurant that could easily be better with improvements to service.
