This is a lovely place to go for a drink. We had a meal here in one of there oak pods and it was great such a lovely experience with amazing friendly staff. Will definitely go back again.

Nice settings.Literally by the canal so the views are amazing.Tried to have Sunday lunch outside on a sunny day and see said views, as the garden area is rather large.Sadly no food being served outside due to staff issues.Inside was hot and busy... no thank you.Tried the evening menu instead.Nice but could be better, service was a little slow.Menu seems quite a mix, seems like they've tried to cover every base. Not enough meats on the menu, far too many pizzas. On a lighter note, there's plenty of parking. It's gets busy so booking a table is advised, even during the day.To note there are only a few tables inside with a view of the canal, most do not.

Lovely place with views over the canal. We went on Saturday and waited ages to be served. Food was lovely and plates with pasta were massive, apart from pizza that had soggy bottom.

I have been here on several occasions and recommend it. We went once as a family, we had an outside pod with its own heating and music (with volume control), the pod was really nice and comfortable and a novel experience. The food is of a high quality with plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian/vegan options if required. Service is very good and the menu selection is nice.

A very average evening.Took a while to be served with menus. One meal was sausages with cabbage, potatoes and peas for £14. Could definitely do with some gravy as it was very dry. The potatoes were meant to be garlic but had no garlic taste. It was supposed to come with green beans but they weren’t there. Another was tomato pasta and meatballs also £14. This meal was cold in the middle (definitely microwaved..) and had to go back. My friends finished their meals before I got the food back from the kitchen.Wouldn’t go back unfortunately.

Nice spot along the Grand Union with large outside area. Modern, rustic interior nicely laid out with a large dining area, open plan kitchen and smaller bar area with real fire area. Nice that dogs can go into bar area and treat their owners to a few beers!A mix of traditional country pub run with a business-like modern operation. Good mix!!Only 4 stars as prices are higher than most, although you pay for what you get, don't you!?

Food was tasty and great view/atmosphere. All the tables were full (Saturday lunch time) but we weren't rushed to leave for them to use the table. Took a little while for food to come out and were there for 2 hours (group of 4) when we had one course and coffee. Wouldn't go if you're in a rush but that view is to be enjoyed! Staff friendly and efficient.

Called in for lunch and got one of the new garden pods. Really nice cozy atmosphere with views of the canal. Would be great for 6-8 people for a private dining experience.

One of our favourite local pubs! Lovely setting in the countryside, country pub feel with really friendly staff. Beautiful roast with a view out on the canal. Highly recommended for a nice weekend meal. Huge menu with pizza, fish pie, shepherds pie, vegan and gf options. Dog friendly in the bar area 🐶🐾.

21st birthday party, was an absolute blast. Food and service good. Daughter was delighted, I drank far too much. Perfect party
