Roade House Restaurant in South Northamptonshire

On the 19th May I attended my first Yoga Nidra class and it was brilliant. I had not been sleeping well for a few weeks and waking every 2 hours or so. That night I slept soundly for 7 hours, I always enjoy my Yoga classes in this lovely studio and would recommend to anyone. Big thank you to Maxine for the intro to Nidra I will be back for sure !

Amazing food covering both vegan and meat eaters. They do lots of themed nights and so it's well worth popping in and see what delights they have.Also great take away coffee and cakes and there is some outdoor seating if the sun is out, or you have just completed your long run

The roade house cafe has such a wonderful and welcoming atmosphere... Really big thank you to Jessica who gave my partner and myself an introduction to everything that's available - yoga, cafe, bar, salon and the friday/weekend activities! / The coffee is spot on and the food reasonably priced with good portions. Tried yoga for beginners and it was a really great and engaging class! The atmosphere is extremely friendly and very relaxing.

Nicely modernised and friendly staff. Lot of memories for my Wife and I at this place and good to see this business busy at lunch times in the week shows how good the food. Worth noting is vegetarian menu and sometimes a little slow but worth the wait.Update to review Apr 2022: menu now includes meat items, we went to an American diner night last night and I hope the normal chef was unwell as the food was very sub standard and have reduced my rating and hope was just a one off as felt very disappointed service was good but food was shocking tbh

Dropped in late afternoon to satisfy our desire for coffee and cake before getting on to the M1. Both were very good and the service very friendly. The cafe is in part of a converted former hotel in the older part of Roade village.

Very friendly team of staff members, which creates a welcoming and relaxing environment. We eat here regularly and are always extremely happy with the food and service we receive 👍

Great cakes and drinks, staff are always super friendly.Really great Themed nights & food! Much better than the pub in the village.

We went for Sunday lunch on 7November, 3 of us, 2 being non meat eaters. Only one non meat option, mushroom wellington, whereas In the past we’d have had more veggie choices. But it got worse…We booked for 12.30, so an early sitting. We were given the menu, chose the only veggie option, to be told by one waitress (none of whom were wearing masks and leaned over the tables), that they didn’t have any, but they might have some nut roast!! We asked if she could check…oh yes they did after all. The pudding ‘special’ today was toffee apple pudding, the usual dessert is sticky toffee pudding. So the two desserts were more or less the same. So one of our party asked for pancakes, but apparently that is only available for brunch, although not written in the brunch part of the menu!The food we had was tasty, although the Yorkies were very raw on the base and the wellington pastry needed more time. The service was very patchy, so some proper training might help with the experience. For example, asking us what we wanted to drink within seconds of sitting, but with no drinks menu. Then the chaos with the actual menu. Hopefully next time it’ll be better, because we do want to support this!I do feel as though the vegetarian options are reducing to not a lot now, which is a shame, as was its great USP.

I've supported this business since opening almost 2yrs ago - blink and you missed it! The welcome is always warm and the food is wonderful. Please don't get me started on the cakes 😍, I can confidently state that I have consumed my bodyweight in Carrot Cake 🐽 .I'm looking forward to trying the new meaty menu options!Keep up the great work guys

We visit the Roade House frequently. It's a fabulous place, with excellent food, lovely people and fabulous surroundings.Have been going there ever since I visited with friends. We were all cold and wet cyclists (caught in a rain shower) and they went out of their way to welcome us in and make us comfortable.All of my family now visit regularly, the cakes are outstanding! 😍😋😋If your'e lucky, you'll meet Gavin & Stacey too!
