Had a lunch sarnie,very fresh and good. Landlady was very helpful and enjoyed a natter. Will go again for an evening meal

Our first visit since the pub reopened. Sunday Roast Beef was just Heavenly. I'm low carb so always need to ask for adjustments and instead of roasties and Yorkshire I had extra veg, buttered cabbage, broccoli, carrot and turnip, which were delicious. I'd not had a turnip for years! I added pigs in blankets and had extra gravy too, they couldn't have been more accommodating.Daisy was brought a water bowl too and the Eton Mess dessert we shared lasted about 1 minute.

We visited our son for his birthday last weekend and he booked a table here for lunch. It was a beautiful day so we ate in the garden. Everything was great: the food, the friendly service, the beer, and the price too

Excellent food, an attention to detail and a good drinks selection. Service is also top drawer. In a proper pub. Highly recommended.

Great Sunday lunch, really tasty, meat/Yorkshire/pots/fresh veg. Maybe a little above what we'd normally pay but would go again! I liked background music too which added to the atmosphere.

The pub has just reopened and we went to the first weekend live service. Food was superb. Service was great. The staff were trying really hard despite it being very new to them.Whole place has been redecorated and is clean and fresh and welcoming.We will definitely becoming back. Recommend the burger and the cheesecake

Had an excellent family dinner here on Saturday night. The pub has been refurbished to a high standard and is well worth a visit. Good menu, family friendly, great service and excellent food. Highly recommended.

They’ve done a great job, the pub looks fab. We enjoyed a lovely meal of kids fish plus a chicken and chips, I had the banana blossom which was yummy and hubby had a chicken Caesar salad. All delicious, desserts are also recommended!

New Management. Glad to see the place was well patronised. We went for a drink, sat in the beer garden in the back, and ended up staying for a meal. We had the fish and chips and it was really tasty. Enjoyed it and would recommend it. Staff is young and still learning, but I'm sure they'll do well.
