We enjoyed Sunday lunch here. The servers were friendly and accommodating of dietary requirements (gluten-free). The decor was welcoming.

Took my family for Sunday lunch , wasn’t impressed , had a long wait for food, when the food came it was swimming in gravy which was off putting , couldn’t taste the food for gravy. Was sat at a window seat which was not suitable for 4 adults so all had to sit around the other side of the table with our backs to everyone.Sent a message to let them know we wasn’t impressed , was asked to call and have a chat to resolve the issue.I called and spoke to Tyler who said he will tell the kitchen and make sure it doesn’t happen to anyone else he wasn’t interested at all that our lunch was not enjoyable .The young female staff were very polite though.Very Disappointed ………..

What a brilliant lunch! The food was exceptionally tasty with the flavours really well balanced - well done chef and your staff. Young chap on the bar was friendly, helpful and efficient. Music was very much in the background which is a rarity these days! Lovely country pub atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Incredible food, nice atmosphere

A great place for a meet up with friends for an evening meal. Excellent food and deceptively large portions. Well worth a visit.

Very cosy intimate little pub on a winters day. Sizeable portion of pate as my starter, which was very tasty.Plenty of veg, roast parsnips and potatoes. Enjoyed the roast chicken and lots of gravy and flavour. Both of my courses had a heavy sprinkling of garlic. I like it but my other half will avoid me the rest of the day! Too full to even check out the desserts. Would definitely go again.

Wow, what a delight! Old pub with character. The food was what had the whole family going wow. Main courses around £16 to £20 and were substantial. Would love to come back if we lived closer.

Had another great meal lunchtime yesterday. Quality of food and presentation excellent. We always receive a warm welcome and the atmosphere is very friendly, staff can't do enough to help. See again soon.

Had a great experience here for a Sunday Lunch at the end of October 21. The pub is charming, there is plenty of room for diners, and the food and drink was great. We had a large party (10+) with a mix of children and adults, and had to pre-order the main course in advance - but that was understandable. The serving staff were young, but were extremely good, polite, friendly, and very smartly presented. We had a range of meals from roasts to steak to the seafood linguine - everyone was very happy. I would highly recommend The Old Cherry Tree, and will put it at the top of our list when visiting the area again.

I had a vegan 3-course meal. It was utterly amazing. Congrats to the chef and kitchen staff!! Highly recommended. This is a friendly, clean, welcoming pub with a lovely garden and parking, and not overly priced. (Photo is just part of our friend’s creme brûlée)!
