The Cromwell Cottage in South Northamptonshire

I had 3 courses and every one was exquisite, it honestly was one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. The staff were all very pleasant and attentive. I will definitely come back again whenever I am in the area it was that good.

Lovely pub, fantastic and friendly service. Food was very lovely too, very flavourful. Pork belly melted in the mouth and the salmon was cooked nicely.

After a very poor experience when it changed hands many years ago (I always vote with my feet!) We were pleasantly surprised last night, eight of us with better sized portions, all served hot by a lovely waitress!

Popped in on the off chance of grabbing some Sunday lunch. Two half roast chickens and a nice house bottle of prosecco + sat outside in the sun 😎 The interior decor could do with a freshen up, but the food and service were great, yes I would eat there again 👍🏻

Do not know. The standard of staffing has improved a lot. Very pleasant and competent now. Pity there never seems to be anyone in charge to welcome

After looking at the menu and price of the dishes I had high expectations of this restaurant. Unfortunately it fell way short. If your going to charge £17.25 for a burger it needs to be the best you've ever had not a dry over cooked patty with minimal bacon, and covered up with melted cheese. Even the fries were dry and over cooked. It was a shame because it's a beautiful setting and the service team were first class and we were well looked after. If the food had matched this high standard I could have justified the bill. The Roasts looked good and were very generous but a decent burger and fries is not difficult to get right.

Just popped in for a drink in the garden, while out walking with the dog. Was a pleasant visit the outside benches could do with a makeover. The drinks were a little pricey but I have paid more. Was busy the nice weather probably has something to do with it. Nice pub.

We had a really nice Sunday lunchtime drink with all the family. Service was brilliant, the barman helped me to our table with the drinks. It's little things like that will definitely make me return. Thanks for a lovely Sunday drink in pleasant surroundings.

Lovely old building full of character. Smart decor with plenty of space. Food was excellent, and there is a big choice on the menu. Service was to a high standard, and we didn't have to wait too long for the good either. Husband was very happy to discover they have Doom Bar on tap. We will return.
