Great spot. Lovely lunch...and could hear Silverstone in the distance!

Brilliant country pub, been here a few times in the past 12 months and it's always consistently good whether it's Sunday roast or casual lunch with friends. Reasonably priced and great tasting food, cannot recommend enough!

We had dinner here, menu very good lots of homemade dishes, very good portions.

Out of the 3 main course , 2 were meat , both not acceptable . Burger meat still pink once my friend had got quarter way through burger. My lamb whilst pink acceptable raw is not . Won't be going back . I expect food to come out correct first time . Waiter service was good, just same about main course dishes .

Such friendly people and the food is of excellent quality. I'll definitely be coming back regularly. 10 out of 10

Overall a great place to eat, good food & service. Only minus points being access is a bit tricky if you have limited mobility & vegan menu is very limited.

The food is fantastic, and the staff are wonderful, well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Great pub for a family Sunday lunch, including 2 dogs! Lovely food and friendly service. The "nibbles" are generous and good value too!

Varied food menu, decent wine list.Food was nice but not incredible. My soup was tasty but very watery. The polenta was an interesting texture with the merest hint of Gorgonzola, you could miss it in there. Venison cooked perfectly.I’d have loved to have been offered water when seated and for salt and pepper to have been available on the table.We were informed parts of the pub were being redecorated and the smell of paint perhaps a little overwhelming when trying to eat.

The atmosphere was great, but the food was mediocre, our whole group had food but not a single person touched the chips. Over-oily and incredibly bland. I guess some might like the chips being hard on the outside and the inside still with some cooking oil, but definitely doubt it. Alcoholic drinks-brilliant. Hot beverages-not so much. Stick with beer.
