OK, menu limited, pub quite nice. Would probably go back again but not lunch time. Nice young lady serving.

Do NOT trust them with accommodation bookings. We booked accommodation last September for the Silverstone Grand Prix on the first weekend of July. They have now cancelled the room with 10 days to go, when all accommodation in the area is now 10x the price or totally sold out. Exceptionally disappointed (I’d use stronger language if I could), not least of all as the cancellation email literally read ‘I’ve leased the pub, sorry’. Utterly unacceptable on all possible levels.

Food was frozen and or processed. Had to put up with an extremely loud group of five, who were so loud we literally had difficulty hearing our own conversation. Would have been nice if staff had asked them to be mi dful if other diners.

Went for lunch for our wedding anniversary, beautiful place with great food and great value too! The staff were friendly and attentive and its children friendly! What more could you want!? Cannot wait for our next visit💙

Three of us went for Sunday lunch and all had beef. The beef was not just over cooked it was inedible. Watery gravy and a small smattering of sorry looking vegetables meant I spoke to a waitress and asked to change mine for chicken. Another of the party was so put off they went without lunch altogether. The chicken was not better than the beef.Staff couldn’t have cared less and upon payment no effort to refund anything had been made. Upon further conversation they refunded one of the Sunday lunches (the one not eaten)After two years of not going out for Sunday lunch due to ongoing covid reasons this was perhaps the worst Sunday lunch experience anyone has ever had. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

We visited 22/12/21 booked a meal for 6pm for birthday celebrations. No one else in the restaurant when we arrived. Got asked where we wanted to sit. Waitresses not wearing masks, though would it would of been good practice with current Covid issues.Generally felt like we were forgotten, took ages to get order for food taken. Food mediocre, daughter didn’t like her chicken burger and food warm not hot.Finished meal waited ages again asked for bill. When that finally arrived the waitress went to get card machine. Another wait and finally my husband had to go and find someone to pay and said waitress was standing at bar chatting clearly forgotten us. Very poor service, no wonder we got a late booking and other places we tried were full up. Should of been a red flag when it was empty. Not worth the £70 for a meal for 4 but more appalled about the service.

Amazing food, and service is pretty good too. Good choice of food weather adult, or child. Nice beer garden which is a good start to the welcome you have first entering the premises. Feels warm when inside. The local punters are friendly which is a bonus. Hope you enjoy it as much as me and the misses did.
