The Marlin Fish Bar in South Northamptonshire

First time ordering here on a quiet lunchtime. Seen the mixed reviews but thought I’d give it a go. Rudest staff ever! Never returning.

Order fish and chips along with burger, only got chips and burger though they gave me the fish after I rang them but have to come back from home again, the sad part is no one was sorry for the mistake or hassle caused. Food was ok

Very lovely experience after a long days work. Although our friend threw an inexcusable tantrum over gravy we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the lady taking out order handled it with discretion and integrity. She's a credit to your establishment, please thank her for us.

What sort of a chippy doesn’t do meat and potato pie or gravy?!Hard days graft. Man just wants a pie dinner and gets denied. Outrageous behaviour.

RUDE! And only deliver till 9pm when food was ordered at 7:45pm, got a email to say it would be delivered at 8:33pm..no sign of food around then! Person I spoke to over the phone was completely rude!

Great food bit a bit shocked at the price increases. I understand inflation etc but £4 for a beef and onion pie made my eyes water.

Decent selection of food and drink on offer, with fantastic portion sizes. The fact they deliver is a bonus. No complaints here!

Not hugely impressed this time round. Maybe the chef was having a off day. Had Fish & Chips and was really looking forward to it. The fish was over cooked, dark brown and dry. The batter was not seasoned and the chips were soggy.

While staying with Mimi and Papa we popped in for a cheeky takeaway.I had my three year old with me who was instantly greeted with a warm welcome with huge smiles. They gave her a little colouring book with a pack of crayons.It was not busy for the time we went there (16:45 Monday)They have a great menu including the kids menu!The food was cooked to perfection!I ordered a sheesh kebab with all the salad and pitta, this was the first place I've been too which separates the salad into a side dish so it isn't all put together and what a fantastic idea! I felt I got more salad out of it and the little dish was perfect for the leftovers!5* 100% deserved!Well done guys, keep up the hard work!

Wouldn't give the food from here to the dog!! Wasnt the best to start with then a mate pointed out the MOULD in the meat,my stomach is still churning! My advise..STAY AWAY
