Amazing lunch. Very friendly staff. I was very impressed with how welcoming and kind the waitress was with our small child.

After walking the dogs we popped in for a drink and bite to eat. It was very busy but they managed to accommodate us. We had some burgers which were great.

I spent a lovely afternoon here with my family, no pressure from anyone just lovely friendly staff ready to serve whenever we were ready. The place was clean and spacious, will definitely be returning there.

Excellent food and service. Definitely recommend it. Will go back in the near future.

Really lovely food in a fantastic environment (just avoid the purple potatoes).The staff are really friendly and certainly service with a smile, the place looks lovely with great decor.A wide selection of drinks, and a good looking menu.Loads of parking and an ideal location.

The food was delicious and was served in good time. The staff gave good customer service and nothing was too much trouble. A lovely evening enjoyed by all. Would definitely go again.

My wife and I had lunch here. I ordered the sausage and mash, my wife ordered the pork belly. One of my sausages was burnt and the onion gravy tasted like it was bought from the cheaper end of the ranges available at the cash and carry. My wife's meal was good, but they forgot the carrots. I've visited the Red Lion many times over the years and have seen it be transformed from a simple village pub with an outstanding steak and stilton pie, to what is it today, a revamped cookie cutter modern bar and restaurant serving cookie cutter food. Nothing outstanding or bad. Just standard pub fayre. Like many of these places, there is massive potential to do something special, but why bother when you can make your money with risk free, solid but predictable fayre. I'm sure I'll be back again as they do a decent enough Sunday Lunch (although if the owners read this, your roast potatoes need work).

Very friendly staff and good service. The food is excellent, although there is a somewhat limited vegetarian selection. The place is very clean and the atmosphere is friendly.

Food was lovely! Even though they were busy and most tables taken we managed to get a table and our food didn't take too long. I'd definitely go back, nice pub, nice food
