The Turnpike - Beefeater in South Northamptonshire

Standard type of menu, but food was nice and grandchildren enjoyed their food from the kids menu. Prices seemed pretty standard, the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful.

Waitress superb. It was late evening and she'd been on her feet since 11.30am and still smiling Wide menu reasonably priced and all our meals were good Had to wait for mains but it was mother's day

Staff were absolutely lovely. Especially our waitress, Tricia. She really made us welcome and feel like we were old friends.The only criticism I would have is that there is only one vegan starter, one vegan main and one vegan dessert. No choice really. Especially as the item I chose was out of stock. 😔Everyone was very accommodating with my Service Dog though, making him very welcome and providing a bowl of water.

Maybe it was just me but I did not get a good vibe from the place. I know I had been there before about 10 years ago and could not remember why I never revisited as I love eating out. Food was really quite average. There was something really off about the place but I can't place a finger on it. On the plus, I was able to use my blue light card discount

Dined here Monday to Friday for 7 weeks whilst working in the Northampton area. At breakfast times Alex, Arthur, Trish & Shirley always looked after us. Wether it was breakfast time or evening meal, they always had smiles on their faces. Great service, Great food & generous portions also. Very grateful to them and all great assets to the Beefeater Group. Many Thanks.... 👍

We had a voucher for 50% off main meals so we booked a table. We visited and was greeted by the very friendly staff, from the waitress to the barman. Even though it was Saturday evening we had a choice of tables to sit at. Nice choice on the menu and reasonable prices. Myself and wife chose the half roast chicken, but unfortunately they had no stock. So we opted instead for the smothered chicken melt. The food arrived in good time, was hot and tasted very nice. I had cheesecake and my wife had the apple and blackberry crumble for dessert. Prices were very reasonable and even much better with our 50% off mains voucher. I wouldn't hesitate to give it 5 stars, however what let it down was food left on the floor under the tables. Apart from that it was very good. We will be back.

Booked last minute table boxing day aswell!Staff are very friendly!Gentleman behind the bar absolute 100% customer service 👏7 of us went food was lovely waitress was a gem!Will definitely recommend to family and friends and will visit again in the near future!Felt very welcoming and it doesn't take much to engage with customers and we all commented on how nice staff was good Job to u all. Popped in here to use a voucher I had...Glad I only paid 50%! Really not impressed, service hit & miss, food ok, (steaks weren't cooked as requested). Staff 'ok' at best, glad it's not my local Beefeater

Booked a large family meal. Staff brilliant and very accommodating. Food really nice. No delays. WELL DONE. Great evening, Thank you to all the staff and thanks for taking our photos..

Really nice lovely meal had the trio of fish and apple crumble and they even let me have extra custard with my crumble
