My husband and I ordered burger with chips, the chips came pre salted and as my husband is unable to have salt my husband asked politely for them to be replace, ( no mention on menu that the chips are pre salted) when the bar/waiter came back with the chips he said, you should have said you didn’t want salt when you ordered ( rudely and loud enough for the rest of the restaurant to hear ) we both said that it doesn’t state they come salted! Which the reply was well when you order again tell us first, my husband said. he didn’t feel that he should have had to say, as salt is a personal choice and it’s on the table anyway. We then waited over 15 minutes after finishing our meal ( no eye contact and total avoidance) for someone to ask if we wanted dessert. We didn’t bother, paid and left.

Great place for live music on a Saturday. Lovely to place to also stay and have a great meal.

A modern style place that doesn't really feel much like a pub but very nice and friendly staff and passable real ales.

Had a nice meal here. Sat in the beer garden as we had the dog with us, but there were patio heaters so it was very pleasant. Food was good, a little pricey but worth it. Staff very pleasant.

Up until the food was served everything was fine. We ordered burgers that came with chips. When the food arrived the chips were already salted. I have a medical condition that does not allow me to have salt. To be told that I should have said something when there was salt (and pepper) on the table was totally out of order. Chips, in my opinion, should NOT be pre-salted!After waiting over 15 minutes after finishing our meal we were not offered a dessert menu. The attitude from the staff was that it was my fault and no consideration for my condition.

This is a tricky one. It has really nice decor and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's not cheap, food and drink was nice but burger chips and a pint was about £18.50 (March 2022)

Really delicious food. 2 of our party had the tapas, 2 had fish and chips, both children had the sausage, chips and beans. Awesome sorbet and ice cream for pudding.Great attentive staff. Polite, welcoming, offered suggestions without being invasive.Easy parking.Adjustments to items were possible to accommodate dietary restrictions. We would visit again.

First time visit. Good service, but it was very quiet on a Monday night. Food was ok, bit I was disappointed with the desert. Three very small bit size portions of cheesecake and nowhere near enough toffee sauce.

Venue booked for a funeral on the 14th December 2021 20 guests i paid £269 we received a total of FIVE plates of food absolutely disgusting owner had NO remorse for this total disaster. No mention of room hire or tea/coffee is extra.

We had our Christmas party here, the food was excellent and the amazing band Accrington Stanley played a good selection, can't beat live music.
