Friendly staff and quality food. Recommend the chicken kebab

Competent but unexciting fish & chips, slightly greasy and not much fish, in soft batter. Non-recyclable foam containers and cash only - what business doesn't take cards? Mushy peas more like soup.

Always have a lovely meal from here. The owners are so friendly and polite.

Really oily frozen chewy fish in fresh batter very small portion . Chips not edible, oil needs changed as do the potatoes sourced. Extremely oily, It was dreadful. Could only eat around the edges, looks not bad in pic but I'm putting all that in the bin and I'm not that picky.

I had read some good reviews of this place, but I'm afraid our experience was anything but. Service was good and staff were friendly, but the food was awful. Fish was swimming in oil when we got it home and had too much batter and the chips were soggy. Come on guys, you can do better than this

Best fish and chips I’ve found away from the sea side, really good! Had them twice now and faultless both times, only accept cash though but there’s a cash point located almost opposite

I get food from here occasionally and it’s always good. However whilst waiting for my food I noticed that staff were dealing with cash and then touching food. No gloves were worn. Plus they were using the tongs to turn meat and the same tongs to turn the pita bread. In these times this is unacceptable.

Absolutely disgusted!! The chips were far too good for me and the kebab tasted like food. Not happy as all as I really enjoyed it. Staff were far too happy for my liking and I'll probably keep coming back.. Not happy at all

Love this fish bar, only given four stars as I've only ever had chips and battered sausage (a few times as lunch at work) so I can't comment on the fish or kebabs just yet :) chips are always good though and staff are really friendly :)Just to note (as I didn't know the first time I visited) this chippy is cash only so make sure to have some cash on you if planning on visiting!

I love going to Tommy's. Food is great and everyone is always so welcoming and friendly. I have to drive past my local chippie to get to Tommy's and I'm happy to do it.
