White Horse in South Northamptonshire

*update after eating here*Food was great, had both pizza and chips.also good things were said about the burger. Would recommend their food!!Really excellent! I wasn't sure on which ale to commit to, so the bartender let me try first. Great, looking forward to eating there

Food not great. Grisle lumps in lasagne. Sausage missing from meal. Very stringy fatty bacon. Waitress didnt look hapoy. Chips for first meal sent arrived after 9th meal sent put. No sauces. Barely any tartare sauce sent. No salt and pepper on table. No one checked to see if everything ok . Very disappointed would not recommend for food and will not be going again. Not worth the money.

Today we decided to visit the white horse, we arrived and were shown to our table, we had the roast beef which was succulent, the vegetable weren't cooked enough for our liking, the parsnips I could have done with a very sharp knife to cut through them they were that hard. We took our time eating our roast when we finished the waitress came and collected our plates but didn't offer us any pudding it would have been nice if she had asked us or said sorry.

Service friendly, welcoming and efficient, food absolutely fantastic. Partner had Ultimate Burger and I had Four Cheese and Mushroom Farfalle- compliments to the chef, spot well and truly hit. 👌

Awesome pub. Friendly and accommodating staff. Went to watch the F1, staff and regulars were all very friendly and created a great atmosphere. Went with our young baby, and were offered heating for our milk bottles, with facilities to change too.

Really lovely immaculately kept pub. Nice Range of cask and keg. Food was lovely and very fairly priced, as was the beer. Lovely friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Whats not to like! Worth a visit just to see the F1 and Moto Gp wall mural.

Turned up on short notice and they kindly managed to squeeze us in before a reservation. Service was really good and efficient sadly this is where the story goes down hill. The roast came out and straight away noticed alot of burnt items, Yorkshire pudding the swede and even the stuffing balls. Once I started tucking in I was shocked to find all the veg was cold? Luckily I managed to force feed myself the cauliflower as I was about to take a bite of it a dog barked behind me causing me to fire not only the veg but the fork also down my throat. The meat was really nice and even the burnt stuffing was tasty. I would give the food a 2/5 service 4/5 wouldn't eat here again

We dined here twice last weekend whilst staying at the circuit. There were 12 of us and 14 respectively. The food was good, the wait was minimal given the numbers in our party . The staff were attentive & polite . I have a severe food allergy but upon chatting to Wendy , I felt confident my request was understood & passed onto Chef accordingly. Wendy checked on me twice. For me , this was vital as not all establishments take seriously the issues with food allergies (especially requiring epi pens like mine!)We all enjoyed the food & service & we will be back next season. We'll done team x

Really, really bad. I'm not sure what it's like normally but avoid at all costs during race weekends.The food is massively overpriced - we paid over £12 for a small carton of chilli with a small pile of rice served in a paper plate with wooden knifes and forks. It was the kind of thing I would have expected from a food van - not a pricey pub.Worse of all, one of our party as vegetarian. They told her they could do a vegetable version of their chicken curry. It was only when we quizzed them further that they admitted they would be attempting to sieve the chicken out and serve that!! This is absolutely disgraceful and shows a complete disregard to their customers dietary needs. If you have food allergies be very careful.I wouldn't go back even if they gave me a voucher for free food.

A great little place to grab a drink and some food, only about 10 minutes away from the Silverstone experience! I can’t remember the name of the burger but it has BBQ pulled pork in it and is 💯 worth ordering! Sharing platter was spot on, especially the chicken strips! So light 😻
